Q: Greetings 5i Team,
What would your four 'Dream' TFSA portfolios (all Cdn companies) be comprised of today at: four, six, eight and ten securities respectively?

Sector diversification not necessary for my question and they need not be dividend paying securities either.

Thank you as always.

Q: The stock market keeps on climbing ahead. At what point should we be careful due to valuation?
That being said, what are the top 5 Canadian and US stocks under current valuations?
Thanks

Q: Hello,
I have owned these 3 stocks for a few years now and doing some portfolio cleanup and wondering if still worth holding - long term. I don’t trade. Can you please briefly comment on their potential individually and if some should be sold, in what order in your opinion. Thank you.

Q: Please comment on its most recent Q. It is still held in the growth portfolio yet it has been in a down trend since early 2022 from almost $60 to a current price of around $36. Do you still have patience with this one? Is it a buy, sell or , hold? Is there another name you would consider as a replacement with better growth?

Q: Hi, We own RY/CM/GS- 12% , IFC - 2.75% and PRL -1% among Financials. In addition, we bought EQB - 1% position at $85, based on strong analyst commentary, a month ago. We need some cash to raise and were wondering if it is necessary to own EQB or with about 15% weight through above holdings, we can let the EQB go.

Thank You

Q: HPS - Can you expand on their specific SBC, 1st look one might think $16,671,000 million in SBC in one quarter WTH... 1 year ago that expense was $4,478,000.
Noted share price as of March 31 $145 so it seems they issued over 100,000 shares as compensation and that is it?
But reading more into it thanks to some twitter(X) ppl I follow (you are tagged in it so you can see exactly what i mean) and its as if they are updating their DSU (deferred share units Directors and Senior executives can defer compensation as stock + they do issue some as awards) and then RSU PSU (recently the new LTIP was instituted for Senior Executives).

Please shed some light on this is that a correct interpretation because they state on page 11 of 1st Quarters Interim financial statements that they issued 1335 DSU shares at $115.80 and a total of 10,388 PSU/RSU shares were issued @ $117.26 this quarter = $1.37 Million at those prices and 11,723 shares.
*BUT noting an expense of $10,836,500 for DSU recorded in general and admin expenses + $5,834,000 expense for PSU/RSU expense recorded = the stated SBC expense of $16.67 Million.

How do they calculate that expense?!

I understand they need to update this quarterly as share price moves as its money owed to Directors and Senior executive but next quarter the stock is lower then is this expense updated and then potentially less?!

Q: Help me!
My wife and I have a competition running in our TFSA accounts, which we started a few years back with the same cash balance. She is using the classic passive ETF strategy, except we got pissed off with bonds and moved that portion into QQQ/ICLN (TDB900, 902, 911 & QQQ, ICLN)
I am actively (quite low turnover) trading CDN and US stocks and ETF's
She is handing me my ass!

My current holdings in the CDN account are ATS, BAM, BN, GSY, KXS, XIT, PBH, WELL, WSP and US account AAPL, TFII, VEEV

Ignoring sector allocations (which i still need to look into), please advise any Buy, Hold or Sell recommendations for my current holdings with a 5 year horizon

Q: Hi, I've held ATS for a while to see a nice gain and now back to even. . I'm debating on adding, selling or just holding. What would be your recommendation today and why?
What other Canadian stocks in the sector do you see as better if moving on? Thanks

Q: I am setting up an income RRIF and thanks for all your your answers to my questions. I would like to add one potential growth stock because that is me. It won't be a huge % say 3. Can you suggest a couple CAD and USD each? Thanks again. Dan
