Q: I am a recent retiree with a portfolio concentrated in financials, oil & gas (currently, anyway) and telecomms. Would a combination of the dividend-producing DRD, BTG/BTO:CA, and AR:CA make for a sufficiently diversified entree into gold stock? After yesterday's jump is gold looking more attractive as a diversifier and portfolio "insurance" provider?
Thanks!

Q: I have a relatively heavy weighting in oil at over 10%, about a 3% weighting in gold and 1% in uranium. Otherwise don't have other commodities.
Fortunately have been able to start taking some profits in oil and will continue to do so if keeps rising.
What is the expectation for other commodities in general over the next few years (though I know you don't have a crystal ball)?
For a conservative investor, what stocks or ETFs would you recommend to provide a diversification into other commodities - my thinking is about a 3% weighting in these. Would prefer to avoid coal if possible.
Take as many credits as needed.
Thank you.

Q: In light of the latest results, where they repurchased a significant number of shares, could you provide a brief review of their results and whether this quarter's release has made them a good purchase?
I am also curious as to your opinion regarding the future prices of copper, in particular considering governments increased planned spending on infrastructure.
Thanks!

Q: Freehold is an oil & gas royalty streaming company. Was there not at one time a competitor to them? Can you name the other oil/gas streaming companies.
Also - the names of the gold/silver streamers - thank you.

Q: Trying to figure out the dynamics of this stock as considering buying for my TFSA as an admittedly risky ( speculative ) venture.
It has a high institutional holding and would they not see share dilution as the worst of possibilities to raise capital ? A takeover ( at a reasonable) would seem to be a better alternative for them. Do you know how much the individual directors own ? Their Board does seem experienced and while they did let costs get ahead of them, they did take decisive action by firing the President and founder of the company. What is your assessment of them getting the Magino mine up and running at expected costs ? I am considering buying , so ask you do I wait until we know the financing or take a chance with a 3 - 6 % position buying now or gradually ? Thanks Derek
