Please comment on the ABX earnings today, it has been a huge laggard compared to AEM, AGI, and all the other major gold companies. Are these earnings good enough to move the stock up to catch up ??
Wondering what your thoughts were on Russel Metals recent earning report. Also for a long term hold would you prefer Richelieu Hardware or Russel Metals?
Q: You suggest that AEM could be a buy at 100-110 ,but it is now at 143 .My position in this stock has doubled, I wonder if I should take "some" profit now , unless it is considered as a safe and interesting value even at 143.. Your point of vue will be very appreciated.
Q: Given the turmoil in the market at the present time, I want to increase my gold allocation and am considering these two companies. How would you rank them and what is your reason for the higher ranking? Do you have another producer in the sub-1M oz of gold production/yr range that you favor over these two companies? What would be your maximum allocation for gold stocks in today's market? I already have 1% positions in each of KNT and AGI.
Q: Do you think the insiders have a solid track record and have enough "skin in the game"? Do you think they have enough capital for the next couple of years to execute their plans or would you be expecting routine dilutive offerings over the next five years? Your thoughts on the pros and cons of this company please.
Q: Looking to start a position in Gold streaming - is WPM the best choice - could you provide the pros and cons of this. What are the other possible companies in this space and their brief pros and cons.
Thanks
Q: Hi, I have a small position in LUN with 28% loss. Should I hold it or sell it to invest the money in a better company and take advantage of the tax loss as well? Your thoughts?
Thank you
Q: Based on today’s environment is NTR a sell? The materials sector is pretty diverse, are there two or three CDN companies that you would have a high degree of confidence would outperform just holding XMA for materials exposure? Or would you steer clear of Canada altogether, and if so, applying the same criteria suggest two or three U.S companies that could outperform XLB in the near term.
Q: I have a question about investing in physical gold. Can you please explain the differences between the MNT and PHYS? I noticed that MNT outperforms PHYS and it trades at a premium to NAV while PHYS trades at discount. The expense rates 0.35% vs. 0.41% seems to be close enough to justify the differences in performance and discount..?
Q: Aris is not really moving up with current gold prices.
Looking to start a small position, anything to be concerned about here…..
Thanks and have a great day.
