Q: I hold WPM and have always preferred it as a senior precious metals royalty play as I think it has the largest silver exposure and I expect silver to catch up at some point soon. I'm considering now whether I should split my position between WPM and FNV as recent news suggests Panama may start talks to perhaps re-open the Cobre Panama mine and FNV would likely have alot of extra upside in that case over time if it happens. How do the 2 compare valuation wise against each other, what are your thoughts on both.

Credit Suisse X-Links Silver Call ETN IOPV (SLVO $90.17)
Q: I read with interest your answers to Alex and Robert this morning regarding SLVO and David Rosenberg's thoughts. I have a great deal of respect for Mr. Rosenberg . Does 5i feel that SLVO would roughly track the gold index ? I do not see any covered call gold equivalent ETF unless you know of one ? The closest I can find is AMAX which is gold miners ..... Having said all that which does 5i feel is the better choice to follow Mr Rosenbergs thesis ? SLVO or AMAX ? I do like the covered call component of both over a straight up Gold security like PHYS ..... Thanks for your terrific service .......

Teck Resources Limited Class B Subordinate Voting Shares (TECK.B $73.08)

Global X Copper Miners ETF (COPX $84.81)
Q: Question on increasing my copper exposure:
I already own some TECK.B, but concerned about the (approx.) 26X PE ratio. Does this concern you?
I'm considering COPX. Yes, comparing an ETF to a stock is a bit apples / oranges. If I believe that International stocks in general will outperform going forward, is this a good choice. I do realize it does have some North American holdings - including TECK.B itself - but the aggregate PE appears to be better value compared just TECK.B.
Perhaps selling TECK.B and just holding all of COPX is a better choice despite the (I think) 0.65 MER. Your thoughts and comments on all this ?

Q: SLVO, a CC silver ETN, does not seem to be in your database. I am looking to add this to my precious metal holdings but want the higher income. Yahoo reports the yield at 22%, which seems absurd. Do you have data on longer term avg yield and what do you think of this in general for income oriented silver exposure? Thank-you.
Q: Can I get your take on Amerigo? I am thinking they might start getting more credit for their more recent focus on share holder returns (buy backs, divy, and special divies) all while paying down debt (forecast zero by year end). What do you think of the valuation at this current copper price and outlook? Thanks
Q: Hello, I never thought I would contemplate buying gold because I find difficult to figure out where it is headed in the future, but here I am. Gold has been going up a lot in the past year and I am wondering, what do you think would be the economic or political circumstances or scenarios under which gold would lose value in a substantial manner, say, 20%, by the end of 2025? Thanks
Q: What is your assessment of prospects (5 yr) for Oceanagold, and is it buyable at current price. Are there overall better mid-tier gold producers on a risk/reward basis and, if so, could you name a couple?

Q: For growth this year, AEM (on the CAD or US side) vs. GLD?
Q: Would appreciate your analysis of NGD in Comparison to NFG!
Would you invest in either and which one has the best profile going forward in these uncertain times?
Thanx
Gary

Q: What do you think of WDO's gold reserves. My not-very-well researched impression is that they have some very high quality ore but not much of it.

Q: Hi Peter and 5i Team,
I’m wondering why, for all periods (3 month, 6 month, 1 year, YTD, 3 years, and 5 years) MNT beats both CGL and CGL.C even though the M.E.R. Of MNT is slightly higher than the other two. Is MNT a good way to get some gold exposure in these turbulent times? Thanks as always for your insight.

Q: What do you think of the recent quarter? The stock has under performed gold lately and I'm thinking to add more. Their cash margins look great and I'm bullish on gold. I already hold a full position in AEM but am looking for growth and I like the safety over miners with the royalty and streaming model.
Q: Thoughts please on TLG.
Thanks
Rob
Thanks

Q: What is your current view on IVN. Copper price has been firm but IVN shares have had a tough few months.
Q: May I have your opinion on AU? Also, is it domiciled in the U.K.?
Q: Greetings 5i, I need to raise some cash and looking at either Teck or Nutrien. Based on medium term prospects which one would you sell? Would appreciate if you can provide a brief explanation in terms of reasons to keep vs sell for each. Thank you.
Q: Hi,
1) Is there an advantage to holding PHYS:CA vs. PHYS:US? How do they stack up with currency fluctuations?
2) Is there any risk with PHYS:US trading on a US exchange if the US goes crazy about Canadians investing in the US? Would it be better to hold PHYS:CA?
Thanks for the help. Michael
