Q: Hi 5i, thx for answering my earlier, yesterday's question regarding AMZN, GOOG, PYPL, META and DIS. I was also looking for you opinion on LGO's recent results and if you'd continue to hold. I was looking to consolidate some of my dogs into 2 or 3 of the aforementioned US stocks. Thx.

Q: I'm thinking of taking some positions in base metals companies. I'm especially interested in copper plays as it seems to be needed to support the drive to electrification. Do you think this is and opportune time to initate positions? In any case, I would appreciate it if you would share some of your favorite companies in this sector and it would help if you would present them in order of most upside to least going forward. I'm open to metals. other than copper as well.

Q: Hi, I have held Teck for many years and watched the stock linger much below my purchase price for years. I am now finally up 30%. I did buy it for diversification in my portfolio which is heavy on dividend payers such as financials, pipes, telecoms, utilities.
I am now much older and retired and need to be more conservative with my investments. Would you advise selling on this price, the highest on the 20 year chart, or hold on to catch proceeds of the planned spinoff of EVR? Teck is held in a registered account.

Q: I sent you a question on CMMC and right after that I started to read up on TKO which is a very similiar sized, low grade Canadian copper miner. The difference is TKO is on the way to a second copper mine in a Tier 1 mining jurisdiction (Still waiting for a final permit) while CMMC just sold off their chance to TKO still has debt although they seem to have most of the capital required to build the second mine. TKO also gets credit for having a lot of moly with their copper while CMMC has more silver and gold by products. Moly prices have gone up substantially but then again gold and silver having been doing well. For 2023 TKO has about 70 per cent of their production hedged at $3.75 (Collars??) so even if copper prices tank in 2023 (doubtful) they should cash flow at their BC mine whereas CMMC is struggling to cash flow in BC. So what do you prefer, CMMC, TKO or some other copper play? I vaguely remember moly $ to be very cyclical. I know moly is only a by-product of TKO's copper mining but if you can comment on that it would be appreciated.

Q: As a CMMC shareholder I am interested in your comments on the takeover by HBM. I am down on CMMC but it was my only copper investment and I was holding for a copper recovery. Do you think it best to stick with HBM or sell and buy another copper stock such as Capstone?

Q: Copper Mountain Mining had a miserable time mining the last few quarters, that reduced tonnes mined, grades down, costs up and cost per lb of copper produced way up. But they have had success in selling their exploration property in Australia ( sold to Harming Gold for $170 plus another possible $60 in the future.) That brings CMMC net debt down to a low level but it makes them a single mine mining company albeit in a Tier 1 mining district. They also have new CEO stepping in on April 24 and Mr. Merrin seems to have good experience (HBM, Gold Corp, diamond mining). So the last few quarters for CMMC have been disasters, but what about the future? Earnings come out soon and I don't expect them to be great but maybe it will be the last of stinky earnings. What is your take on this single asset Canadian copper miner? Do you think the incoming CEO is the right guy to turn this miner around? I only want a copper miner in my portfolio that does okay with lower copper prices and if copper does shoot up then it does even better.

Q: Hello Gentlemen

I am quite bullish on gold over the next while. I own AEM which is up 23 % KRR which is up 38% and KNT which, believe it or not is down 5%.

My question is should I continue to hold KNT which has proven to be a real laggard in the space and whose price is down over the past year despite the metal surging.

If you think I should hold on to it please tell me why. If you think there are better options with better upside please let me know in priority of how strong you feel.

Thanks

Sheldon

Q: Hope you all had a great Easter Weekend.

With the need for more rare earths are there any Canadian companies that standout to capitalize on this coming demand? To my understanding China has 80%+ market share and control of these types of materials and 44% of world reserves within their boarders.
