Q: At the moment I have no gold exposure but I have looked at SAND -- do you think that a streaming company like SAND is a reasonable way to invest in gold?

Q: Hi Team
I know copper is not popular at the moment...however I thought of investing for the long term. I would like a rather pure play and with a company that will survive until demand and prices recover. What companies might fit the bill...Thanks for your assistance!

Q: NIF.UN-stock price same zone last four years, good ROE, low debt, low payout ratio. Buy for income only-however, not sure I understand it's structure??
Q: Good Morning Peter and Team
I would like to get a detailed answer from the team regarding Zen or Zenyatta Ventures. Specifically they have had great drilling results throughout the summer and have just gotton a sizeable NRC grant.
Although the 43-101 hasnt been published there is enough data with the drill results coupled with industry information to at least start basing a NAV.
1) Will you be covering this stock in the future after the 43-101?
2) Do you have any specific concerns for this stock?
3) What would you deem a likely buyout scenario to be?
Much appreciated in advance and always look forward to hearing your perspective.

Q: CEF.A: asked by Richard
"if CEF sold all of its gold at the current price, and bought back all of its shares, it would be 5% short."
Not sure of the answer as expressed here.
The shares trade at 5% discount to the bullion. Selling all the bullion and buying back the units at the current discount yields a 5% cash surplus. Publish at your discretion.

Q: Ivernia - IVW TSE
IVW is a pure play for Lead, and as commodities go, Lead has been performing well. The boom in car production bodes well for Lead, both in emerging markets and developed. Magna and the likes of GM, Ford Toyota have already had big moves, would the guys mining the Lead from the ground be an untapped way to gain exposure to the automotive market?

Q: Good Afternoon Peter and Team,
Great call on PLB !!! Just wish I had a truckload of it rather than a few hundred shares. I will patiently await your updated recommendation.
My question is with regard to gold in constant backwardation i.e. the Gold Spot price stubbornly stays above the Comex Futures Price by a small amount. My understanding is that this is quite unusual. Of couse John Embry and Eric Sprott believe that this indicates that the price of gold will soon rise to infinity and beyond.
What is your take of this rather peculiar situation ???
Thank you. DL
