Q: In light of the recent market turmoil and prospects of a global trade war I feel I should have some exposure to gold. In your opinion, would it be best to invest in a specific gold miner (miners), a gold ETF or perhaps a royalty company. I'm looking for a longer term hold.

I would appreciate if Peter could give his opinion on b2, since he spent many years at Sprott. I hear nothing but good about B2 from analysts,
guests on BNN, Globe articles, and 5-i, and yet it never can break $ 4.00.
If gold goes up it generally goes down. Astute CEO. What is wrong?
I read an article in the Globe on March 29 stating that for every $ 1.00
increase in the price of WCS DESJARDINS estimates that athabasca oilsands cash flow will increase 10.4%. This AM it was announced
that due to less imports by the USA from Venezeula coupled with
Enbridge reducing what they call airpockets in their shipping system
the WCS/WTI has reduced from $ 28.00 in February, 2018 to $ 18.00
today, and ATH is down today. At an increase of $ 10.00/ barrel for
ATH provided it stays there, Wouldn't one think Ath would go up a few cents?

Q: In the April 3rd BNN Market Call Newsletter, Jaime Carrasco makes a case for increasing one's gold holdings, due to China ".....giving the petro-yuan gold convertibility......".
Could we have your reaction to his argument? (And recommendations if you tend to agree?)

Q: Enforcer Gold and Batero Gold.
Can you give me any insight into these two micro gold companies?
Am I correct to say they both have good balance sheets/cash as well as high insider ownership?
Do small/micro gold stocks outperform the sector during a gold bull market?
What gold stocks would you recommend if the POG rises?

Q: Due to the impending trade war ( thanks to Donald!)and the trouble it will cause in the market, I am holding some cash in my portfolio 10%, and would also like to invest in some gold to further my safety net. Do you think this is a good idea, and if so, what golds stocks or ETF's would you recommend and what weighting?

Q: I hold these two Sentry funds , down 30%. bought them when gold was $1300 . when gold goes down they go down. when gold goes up they do not come for the ride . any thoughts for the future. thx. Jack

Q: BTO has pulled back recently off its highs. This could be due to gold price fluctuation, but Mali is talking about "a mining code revision". Given what is happening to the companies in DRC like Ivanhoe and Katanga, I wonder if BTO has hit a bit of political head wind? BTO has other good projects outside of Mali.
May I have your opinion on BTO for the next 6-18 months?
