Q: Sandstorm Gold (SSL) is taking a hit today along with the rest of the gold sector. It's down about 4 percent to a 52 week low. Would this be a good entry point.
Thanks, Chuck

Q: Hi Peter,
I purchased some resource/energy names a few years ago (POT/NML/PXX/RNX) they are all down across the board. At this juncture would you suggest I hold these names and wait for a turn or sell at a loss and move into the model portfolio that you put together? Thank-you.

Q: Denison Mines (DML) offers to by 90% of all the shares of Rockgate Capital (RGT) at 0.192 share for each.

Presently (RGT) @ 0.21$ and (DML) @ 1.10$. The condition of purchase is the acceptance of at least 90% of RGT shares.

The proposition is to tender the shares.

Presently, the share price of RGT reflects the offer (0.192 x 1.10$= 0.21$)

In order to evaluate, if the offer is interesting, sell now, tender or not my shares, I need to know what will happen to the share price of RGT in either of those scenarios:

1- The offer goes through?
2- The offer's condition is not met?

Thanks to your team for a fantastic job, even during short staff period.

Hello,
I bought quite a bit of Claymore Gold Bullion and Claymore Silver bullion which was later bought out by i-shares. Since my purchases there has been a lot of discussion about "paper" gold and now I am wondering whether the bullion is really in the vault? Do you think dealing with the Central Fund of Canada is more reliable? I am losing some sleep on this so your answer will be appreciated!

Q: hello Peter, You appear to favour Goldcorp (g) as do most investment people. I have done some research on G and it appears to be one of the worst stocks from a shareholder point of view, losing value year after year (its average return over the last 10 years is about 3.5% during which time gold has quadrupled). I am at a loss, can you explain.

Q: Hey team, I currently hold Gold Canyon Resources on the venture (GCU.v). Like alot of people I am underwater about 50 percent. What do you think of the company and or the prospects of junior mining in this environment? My thinking is to sell and move on.
Thanks

Q: Hi Peter ,
Any thoughts on Northern Dynasty (NDM) now that Anglo America has pulled out of the Pebble partnership? NDM now owns 100% of the project and realized the benefit of Anglo spending $541 million on it over the last 5 years. With the massive deposit of 81 billion pounds of copper and 107 million ounces of gold as well as molybdenum what is the probability of NDM making a new deal, perhaps with Rio Tinto who currently owns 19% of NDM?
I know its a junior and the resource sector stinks but may this be a good entry point for a patient investor?
Thanks.

Q: In the global economy that we live in is the printing of money by central banks really as inflationary as past experience would indicate? Since the value of a currency is measured relative to the other currencies of the world, including gold, then if everyone (Fed, BofJ, ECB)is printing money will it really drive the gold price higher relative to any one currency?
Sort of like, if your at a party and everyone is drinking, does anyone look drunk at midnight?
Thank you
Brian
