Q: Could I have an update on Torex TXG I see you liked them last March. They seem to be expanding the resource and moving forward very nicely, while the stock price has dropped to close to book value. I realize the sector risk but i'm always early to buy, this has to be a winner in a couple years as long as it doesn't go to zero. Am I missing something?
Thanks

Q: Hi Peter
My question is on gold and whether it is a good idea to keep some as part of a balanced portfolio. I currently own GLD and unfortunately entered when gold was $1650 an ounce. Do you recommend maintaining this position ? Changing to gold stocks ? { if so what } or exiting the gold sector and investing elsewhere ?
Thanks Garth

Could you provide some insight on the Central Fund of Canada as a possible vehicle for exposure to gold and silver bullion. In particular, can you elaborate on the fees associated with this fund.

Thanks

Q: The uranium sector seems to be moving up a bit and I would like to start accumulating in the sector. Everyone agrees we are going into a mining supply issue and with the Russian weapons supply having stopped I don't see how the price can not go up. What would be your suggestions in the sector.
Would be nice if members could search questions by a key word (like uranium).
Hope you had a good holiday and Thanks for the wonderful service you provide.

Q: In your answer to Behrouz re a Mining and Metals ETF, you mentioned CMW and XME. I, too, have been looking for a decent ETF in the sector in Canada. The problem in this country is that there are no ETFs in the Mining and Metals sector, just Global Base Metals. XME is listed as having about 9% in gold and another 10% in Precious Metals. I'm sure CMW and a second iShares entry, XBM, have considerably more than that in gold (I can't find out how much). If you wish to avoid gold in a M&M ETF, it's difficult. And besides, both Canadian products are thinly traded. There is a third Canadian entry, this one from BMO, ZMT. Surely one of them could be a more pure M&M play.
