Q: Hi 5i,
HBM like so many other stocks has had a correction to the downside. it appears overdone. can you look at HBM again as they have had an on site visit this past Sept 08 th.it seems like their expansion is happening right at a perfect time, especially with the Zinc.do you think management is competent enough to see these projects to the end, on time , on budget etc. etc. what don't you like about HBM.
with regards to the markets in general do you think we are still going through a normal business cycle ?
if yes then base metals have yet to have their day ? ? thanx Norm

Q: My mining sector holdings including Yamana and Teck are down but still make up 6% of my portfolio. I'm fairly diversified but very light on Healthcare. I like dividends with some growth but am not risk averse. I have about a half position of cash to invest. Should I top up the mining sector or should I spread out to healthcare? If healthcare, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Q: Hi Peter, Do you know what percentage of revenues come from K's mine in Russia? Given that the situation with Russia is getting worse and worse, I'm worried the company could very well be a candidate for expropriation. What are your thoughts on that and how much more downturn can the stock have if that were to occur?

Thanks a lot!

Q: Do you see hzu as a good straight forward proxy for silver prices. And if so, how does the internals work to follow accurately those prices. Any lag? Any derivatives that could cause wild changes?.
And if I may, could you rank Silver Gold and Platinum in order of preference.
Thank you
CDJ

Q: Hi Peter

Is it finally time to buy CGL and SVR or is there still more downside coming? Or,is it better to buy the larger US versions GLD and SLV because of the rising US dollar? Do you see the dollar hitting 85 cents or lower?

Q: Hello gentlemen,

Just a quick question about Rubicon Minerals. I realize that gold is continuing to take a pounding and is hurting all gold stocks ( producers and explorers) but this gem continues to pump out fantastic drill intercepts with high grams/ounces. The mill is supposed to be finished in mid 2015, they no longer require financing because of a share issue and a streaming deal with Royal gold. Lawsuit with the WFN was ruled in their favour too in Ontario Court (although it is being appealed). Do you still think it would be appropriate to throw in the towel on this one as per one of your earlier responses or would you possibly reconsider based on all of these recent positives in the last several months? If you were to recommend a few junior stocks would this be on your list? Seems out of favour with many mutual funds and am wondering why?

Thanks for all of your analysis. It is very helpful and appreciated.

Arturo

Q: Could you please update me on alexco (AXR). I don't understand your june 19 answer about if silver at 19.45 they get 18.00 per ounce but if silver goes up or down they get less. At silver $35 per ounce they only get $3.90 per ounce.
I read the news release on the change and didn't understand that either.
What value does their mine and environmental clean up division have?
Also a general comment on mining companies developing old mining areas?

Thanks Doug
I figure modern technologie will bring out things from the past?

Q: Hello Peter and company. I was hoping to have your view on Teck Resources..TCK.A.. I am looking at cash levels and prices on its various business segments on a forward basis. It looks like there is a significant misunderstanding of impacts and there could be a floor and $21.00-$20.00 area. I already have a position. Is the Dividend safe in your view. Thank you Jason
