Q: Please provide your thoughts on two funds in the precious metals sector.
1. Sentry Precious Metals Growth Fund
2. Precious Metals and Mining Trust
Are either worth keeping and are there EFT's that you would recommend instead?

Q: Hello,
Interesting times, and I'm already seeing opportunity, though am waiting.
I've recently read some bullish articles on SA with respect to Richmont Mines. The most recent article mentioned RIC upping their YTD production by 68% (http://seekingalpha.com/article/2552425-update-richmont-mines-reports-year-to-date-gold-production-up-68-percent).
I see many positives with this company (please correct if wrong):
- 32 million Cash
- low debt
- $800 / oz cash costs
- mines in Canada
Since 2012 I see 5i has a varied opinion on this stock, including it being a good takeover candidate. Could you update on your opinion of this gold stock?
Thanks,
Cam.

Q: I am thinking of diversifying my portfolio to include some gold stocks. Would you please recommend 3/4 gold mining stocks and rank them in order of your preferences. Much appreciated.

Q: I have a question to ask. With the current sell off in the market do you think it is a good time to buy some of the companies you recommend. In my portfolio I have a lot gold and silver stocks which I have had for sometime and are down quite a bit. What is you thoughts on the gold and silver market at this current time. Do you think it is best to diversify. I look forward to your response.
Q: Today the price of gold rose by more than 1%. However, despite this, almost all the gold miner stocks fell very significantly. Can you explain this?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Q: Is Kinross K.TO going for bankruptcy ? It drops twice as much as the other miners on a daily basis, not only today. Unfortunately, I have a position in it for 3 yrs now. How do you see K.TO 2 yrs from now ? Do they have enough cash to sustain their operations ?
Q: More of a comment on this company-I live about 5 miles from this operation and they seem to be hitting on all cylinders-the report this morning about their costs is impressive as is the production increase-seems to me a positive recovery story so far-just need the price of gold to keep climbing.
Q: I have purchased cum before on your recommendation but sold all my shares at higher prices. Is it time to buy some shares for growth for 2-3 yr. period. Also, who are the sellers in SGY and WCP to drive the price down? My idea of SGY with all this hedging is that it was a good price at $8, so it must be a bargain at $6.60?
Q: I have a full position for about 2 yrs, down quite a bit now, please provide your view on Gold in general and IMG (sell or hold or average down).
Thanks and congrats to Peter on the successful bike ride.

Q: I currently own CS as my only Mining stock - at current share prices, would you recommend selling CS and buying FM or just keeping CS for the time being and wait for a rebound?
Q: Today I checked out INK insider selling/buying reports on all 40 or so stocks I hold, a very conservative diversified across all sectors mix of mostly dividend growing and paying US and canadian stocks. INK indicates almost all of my positions have net insider selling except TCK.B. which has small net insider buying. I have never done this exercise before. How useful do you find insider buying/ selling info. Is this perhaps an indication the market is frothy and perhaps we should be selling some portion of our positions and not buying? Teck as a long term hold does look pretty good right now, would you buy?
Thanks Manfred
Thanks Manfred
Q: Hi Peter and team, Banro Corp down nearly 72% YTD. Will this stock eventually be worthless? I hold a smaller position and down about 45% on it. P/B ratio is only 0.01. Is this a cheap stock with a chance of revival or a bad investment that an investor should run away from?
Q: Hi team. I would like your opinion on (FCU)Fission Uranium.
Q: What are your thoughts on ABX : NYSE
Q: Hi Peter and team, leading gold mining companies like G, ABX, YRI, K are all trading at multi year low levels. P/B ratios for YRI and K are well below 1. Aren't these companies are deeply undervalued? If so is it ok to have a slight bias towards gold mining sector to seize an opportunity for the next 6 - 12 months.
Q: What are your thoughts on GG : NYSE
Q: Silver Wheaton is a big part of the Income Portfolio. I do not currently own any shares. Is now a good time to start a position?
Thanks for all the great advice. Greg

Q: Hi 5i,
HBM like so many other stocks has had a correction to the downside. it appears overdone. can you look at HBM again as they have had an on site visit this past Sept 08 th.it seems like their expansion is happening right at a perfect time, especially with the Zinc.do you think management is competent enough to see these projects to the end, on time , on budget etc. etc. what don't you like about HBM.
with regards to the markets in general do you think we are still going through a normal business cycle ?
if yes then base metals have yet to have their day ? ? thanx Norm
