Q: Hi All!! I have a small holding of Barrick gold...I have watched it slip and slide downward. As a long term prospect, would it be worth my while to trade it in for Goldcorp. This is my only gold holding. Cheers and thanks, Tamara

Q: Hello,
Please give me your opinion or a resource on how do you research the management of a company. They say superior management is the key to superior market performance. Sabina Gold and Silver has just hired a new CEO effective February 15th name Bruce McLeod. Can you please advise on the company and new management.

Q: Hi 5i Team,
It's my view that the guys who run this company are pretty darn smart. As you recall the history of Tahoe Silver was that it was started by the former CEO of Goldcorp and purchased its main property from them. Tahoe is at it again recently getting into Gold, with a recent mine purchase. Do you see this as a subtle and shrewd move as buying at a bottom? I was lucky enough to get into Tahoe several years ago at $6/sh based on this same sort of hunch. What do you guys think? Many Thanks again.

Q: With the small improvement in Cuba-USA relations and their nickel mine start up on time would you consider a small position in S a good investment or another name?
Thanks to all
Thanks to all
Q: Could you give an update on go gold now that they have been in production for about 6 months, your opinion on management and other developments they are working on. Thanks
Q: Hi,Peter
If you remove oil, gas and precious metals of the equation, in your opinion, and in direct relation to your significantly bullish views on the world economy in your written comments on BNN, what commodity has the most leverage from the following: agriculture (fertilizer, grains) uranium, copper, metals (iron ore, steel, tungsten, lead, RE, etc...)coal or any particular commodity(ies) you think of, and from there could you highlight a few Canadian companies that will benefit the most from it.
Thank you very much,
Claude

Q: What is your current view of TV....is it a buy/hold or sell?
Q: Is it time to pick up some tck.b?
I have no other commodities except 8% mid size oil/gas (wcp, cnq, etc.) Thanks Bob

Q: If a rising gold price comes to pass, like I suspect, is ASR a good play on increased leverage. If not, would you suggest a few other small- mid caps as I already have Goldcorp.
Q: Just looking at the Financial Post article of January 25, 2015 on this company-they just paid off the remaining debt and are in a free cash flow situation. I would suspect that if gold finally makes and upward move, this company would move very well with it. What do you think?
Q: It's February (almost anyways) so it is time for my annual question on Aquila. May I have your comments on the latest press release? They seem to be selling stock in order to raise money. I presume management owns a sizeable chunk of stock. I understand the risks - I only have a very small weighting but am considering buying a little more - it would still be a very small weighting. The press release appears positive to me assuming they close the deal. Should I buy now or wait for the deal to close? On the negative side I find it hard to believe they have a mine with Hudbay dropping them but maybe that is just the way it goes in the mining business.
Thank you
Thank you
Q: The stock has plummeted and management has been given the boot by the debt holders (albeit not until original management made out like lottery winners).
Do you know anything about new management and whether it is at all possible to turn this baby around. Would a commodity (gold, uranium) reversal of fortune help at all?

Q: For a long term hold (> 5yrs) which has the best long term potential, ABX, FM, TCK.B, G, AEM. What other materials stock has good long term potential?
Q: LIF question of Jan 28,2015(asked by Gary):
Also, the bancruptcy filing by a customer with a take or pay railway contract affects LIF by about 125? million/year for the next 3 years. Also, the big expanding Australian producers (RIO, BHP) have costs of $40/ton.
Publish at your discretion.

Q: I have a substantial investment in this company based on (1) it is the highest grade lithium deposit in North America, and (2) tight control of management and expenses by the Walker family of Sudbury who are spending/investing like its their own money (they do not have more than 10-20% of the equity); and they own (privately) the largest independent blasting and drilling company in Canada (and North America?--not sure). The downside is the stock is now in relatively few hands and is relatively illiquid/volatile. Please provide your view. Thank you.
Q: Looks like AGI missed its fourth quarter targets and the stock has been punished because of it. Does their 2015 guidance seem reasonable even though they have missed their quarterly target a few times? Do you think its a buy at these prices? Do you think they can turn it around or will it get worse? Thanks
