Q: What is your considered opinion of the investment merits of Kirkland Lake? It has been approx. one year since the last inquiry about the company. In your assessment, please comment on the nature of the ore body that is being exploited as well as the results of exploration on the property. Finally, what is the impact of Eric Sprott becoming the Chairman of the Board?

Thanks for your insight and analysis.

Q: Hi 5i: I've held FM for about a year, having bought it as part of a diversification effort. Everything I read and hear suggests that the price of copper is unlikely to move until 2016, and then relatively slowly. I'm considering getting out and switching to something that will provide some growth in the interim. Your advice would be appreciated. If you think getting out is OK, any suggestions on what to buy instead?

Q: I hold a small position in Goldcorp (1.5%) and would like to increase my exposure to gold. Would it be best to add to G or start a new position in FNV. FNV seems to be the best long term performer just based on a quick chart comparision. Thank You Ron

Q: Hi Team
Love your service.
Feedback from yourselves and Ross Healy, who I really respect, it is always impressed that one should have some small percentage of ones assets in gold, or gold stocks. I have small positions in both Goldcorp and Argonaut Gold, both of which are substantially under water. I was going to add to one of these to increase my gold weighting to 5%. Tempted to buy AR which I believe would give more upside potential, but I realize is the more risky stock. Just would like your thoughts on this plan. Is AR a solid stock with a good cash position, low gold costs, and an outlook to increased production. Or is the risk not justified?

Much thanks

Stuart

Q: I'm in the same leaky boat as others with the unsecured 8.75% notes. Given that the initial purchase was about 1% of my total portfolio, would it make sense to hang onto the shares I will get in the restructured company and treat it as a speculative investment?
