Q: I watched the apparent manipulation of the PGD stock price to "wash out" warrant buyers over the past couple of weeks.

Could you confirm how many shares were out standing before and then after the warrants closed last week.

I see it has shot up and getting near where it was before the warrant fiasco. However I can't tell what 0.35 stock price before the warrant issue is worth now that the warrants have been executed and diluted the stock price.

Thanks in advance, Mike

Thanks for your great service.

Q: Peter, could you comment on Mandalay's first quarter results and the shareholder rights plan just announced. Was the recent 10 cent drop to 82 cents related to the "in-the-works" rights plan ?? Are you still positive on this stock going forward??

Q: Do you agree that Aquila's latest granting of options exercisable at .19 over the next five years is a positive development? They appear to be raising money to do more development work. Clearly there will be dilution and will be highly negative to the stock price if the development results are not encouraging. On a more positive note officers of the company will be putting some money into the company which is always a good sign. If the stock trades above 19 cents some insiders may exercise and sell which should provide more float. The company's officers appear to be legit not just promoters - however some promotion will be needed to raise development money. I also like the fact that the purchase of the options are stretched out over 5 years. Still a high risk stock of course.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Q: Hi,

I read your response about Rio Tinto. I'm currently deciding between Rio and BHP for exposure to the materials sector. I currently have a small 2% position in Western Forest Products, but no base metal exposure. Which do you prefer between BHP and Rio and do you prefer the super majors vs canadian companies like First Quantum and Lundin?

Q: I have held RIO for some time hoping that it would recover. I realize it is cyclical but would like your opinion on whether it is worth holding or whether there is a better place for my money.

Really appreciate this service. Thanks, as always,

Q: Hi team.

Q: What is you view/outlook on BTO? Looks promising for the year ahead but it seems that gold prices under $1200/oz keeps BTO from moving. Is that a concern or do the merits of the company and growth potential be the reason for investing in spite of gold make dips under $1200/oz?

Thank You
Marc

Q: What's your best pick for the gold sector at this time. I have zero exposure, long time horizon and I am looking for growth most of all. I will sell my CCT holdings to pick up some gold exposure.

Q: The last question on DDC was Nov 13/13, at which time you called it an OK - type of company. It appears since then to have changed for the better. Certainly it is doing better than most of its peers. Thru my bank acct I have access to Value Engine analysis of DDC. According to them DDC's fair market value is $37. So I'm thinking this may be a good buy. I'm not sure how to interpret their balance sheet, however There is no line that says "debt" - just a comparison of Assets to Liabilities; which to my untrained eyes looks pretty good(assets=3x liabilities). So what are the debt issues, if any with this company? Are there any other red flags I should be aware of? Lastly, how do view DDC today.
Thankyou----I really enjoy your service.
