Q: Your opinion on SLW. I am down approx 25% in 3 months. Is the recent Revenue Canada investigation weighting in, or is it something else.

Q: I have shares in Osiko, Goldcorp, B2Gold, and Argonaut. Of course, all have been performing poorly with Argonaut the worst of the bunch. With the current gold price at $1140 US and the Canadian $ at about $0.75, the gold price in Canadian terms is about $1500. When the Canadian $ was close to par, a $1500 gold price was quite attractive and gold stock prices reflected this. Since these are Canadian companies, on the basis of what I have stated above, does it seem that these companies are currently undervalued and it is just market pessimism that is being reflected in the share prices of these companies. If my thoughts make any sense to you at all would you recommend other gold companies to consider or buying more of the existing. As always, I value your opinion very much. Thank you
Q: Hello - I'm down 40% on DDC and while I believe in the company long term, I am thinking it might be a good time to take the tax loss. Do you see it making any moves in the next couple of months before I buy it back?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Q: Peter and His Wonder Team
Please compare First Majestic Silver and Pan American Silver in terms of balance sheet, management, reserve life and overall value. Which one do you think is the strongest going forward? Is there another Canadian silver company that you think tops these?
Thanks for your excellent insights ...they are invaluable to retail investors who are just wanting respectable returns on there investments!

Index Rebalancing Creates An Opportunity In Timmins Gold
Sep. 16, 2015 8:19 AM ET | About: Timmins Gold Corp (TGD)
Disclosure: I am/we are long TGD, GPL. (More...)
Summary
Index related selling based on purely technical reasons has pummeled Timmins Gold's share price.
We saw the same thing last quarter with Great Panther Silver and it created an opportunity for investors.
At the current valuation, Timmins "sum-of-the-parts" valuation is much greater than its current market capitalization.
For value investors this makes an excellent speculative buy as soon as the GDXJ index unloads its shares this Friday.
WOULD THIS UPCOMING EVENT ACCOUNT FOR THE STEEP SLIDE IN TMM? THANKS

Q: "Moody’s slashes Teck Resources to junk status"
In your experience, is this a screaming sell signal?
Would you consider this worse than a dividend cut or elimination?
If it is a sell, what would be a good replacement in the same space?
Thank you.

Q: You previously said they were too small to comment on despite a little cash in the bank and a raising of $500,000. Since then the price has doubled to 20 cents and they raised another $2 million. Is it still below your radar as wondering if already too late considering it is speculative.
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Is MMY attractively priced/valued considering it's overall status? How would you rate the management considering sector turbulence? Did they win or are likely to win their recent legal battles? Thanks in advance.
Q: Glencore announced suspension of dividend and assorted asset sales and share issuance to deleverage and tidy up the balance sheet. This seems like reasonable measures for the long term but as a shareholder is painful to ride out.
Could I have your opinion on these measures and on the company's position. I understand this is not one you follow closely but your expertise is, always, greatly appreciated.

Q: What is the situation for Gold Corp. during the next five months
Q: Dear 5i,
This one is killing me. I'm down over 80%. Do I let it go and throw what remains of that cash into something else to at least stop the opportunity loss?
Thank you,

Q: Hi,
I have some First Quantum (FM) in my portfolio that is down significantly. I am thinking about selling it for the tax loss and replacing with Glencore.
What are your thoughts on Glencore? What is the difference between GLNCY and GLCNF?
Thanks,
Michael.

Q: Good afternoon:
I would appreciate your view of Romarco Minerals in light of the proposed takeover by Oceanagold. Do you consider an existing position worth holding?

Q: Hi 5i Team, I'm looking for a couple of solid picks in the Material Sector where I am looking to increase my exposure. In this sector I currently hold SJ, G, and small amount of FM. And just to make this challenge a little harder I need something that pays a dividend. Thanks again for all your help. Mario.
Q: Hi, I am down significantly on a position in Capstone Mining. Your thoughts on this company balance sheet and assets to weather this copper price environment. Would you consider it a hold or cut losses (in a RRSP so cannot take a tax loss)?
