Q: U has dropped a lot and from what I can see is trading at a big discount to book. I realize the fees are high, but what do you think of it for a trader.

Q: Peter and team:
I am down 30% on G and it represents about 1/2 weighting (2.5%) in a portfolio modelled much after our BE portfolio.
I missed the switch to AEM when you made it last month. Would you still recommend the switch in light of recent movements by both. Also would you suggest topping up with cash to bring holding to full weighting(5%) at this time, or wait for a pull back. Time frame is 10 years+ (hopefully).
Thanks as always.

Q: What do you think of SSP on the venture? I noticed back in 2010/2011 the stock price was around $10. What was the market cap back then and how many shares were outstanding in 2010/2011? How can I find that info myself? Thanks
Q: Could you please comment on Franco Nevada's recent earnings. Do you continue to like this company at these levels and would you recommend purchasing shares at the current price.
Q: I asked a question about your thoughts on Wesdome about a year ago, and your opinion at the time was neutral in tone. Since that time, Wesdome has increased in share price by over 50%. Have your views on the company changed since that time? Thank you very much.

Q: Hi - I would like to top up my Gold/Silver Assets in my portfolio. I have a 10-12yr time horizon. - I own about 2% gold and silver bullion (in my safety deposit box) and would like to buy about $15k of precious Metals stocks but want them to be dividend producing stocks. - Can you give me a few of your favorite Precious Metals Stocks (or ETF's) that have a (relatively secure) dividend. I would like to buy about $5k of 3 different names if possible - also what do you think of Mandalay Resources (MND). - thanks again for this very valuable service!
Q: In terms of a mining company, which company has the least debt and strongest balance sheet. Also big cap (most liaquad). Not looking to invest now, going to wait for gold to bottom and at that point considering a good vehicle to be in. What are your reccomendation.
Q: I still hold this one . FM sold a mine in Finland today. The markets seems to like this move. Also an article on TD website about future copper shortages and good copper mines in short supply. Comments
Thx Blake

Q: Hello 5i team,
It's in times like these that I should have listened to you when you suggested to maintain an exposure to energy, gold and minerals (even though you exited FM); but to what do you attribute the recent (sudden) rally? I understand gold = uncertainty but lack of global growth (demand) would not suggest a surge in metals; as for oil, it seems we will always have an oversupply thanks to shale production.
I would appreciate your take on these issues,
Antoine

Q: I am looking for a position in silver at this time. Thoughts on SVR.C.TO or others?
Q: I read today that SSO has purchased Claude Resources, CRJ. The market seems to dislike this acquisition, any idea why? I've bought and sold SSO over the years (in fact I used to monitor this stock in our local newspaper for my father back In the 60's). What are some reasons for one stock to soar and the other to deflate following an acquisition? Thanks for everything!!
Q: Peter and team:
What are your thoughts on CG at this time? Would it be a buy currently (regardless of sector weighting). It was sitting on substantial cash reserves last year, do you know if this is still the case? Also are you aware of any political stability concerns with any of their operations.
Thank you for a great service.

Q: Hi,
You seem to like RIC and it has done quite well lately. Would you consider this a buy or did I miss the boat on this one?
Thanks for the great work you do.

Q: Hello, if I understand the offer Silver Standard made for CRJ equated to $1.65 per share. A 12% premium to today's closing price. Why wouldn't I buy and make an easy 12%?
Thanks for all your wisdom!!
