Q: Hello Team 5i, I know this is a High Risk ETF, but this the start of the Seasonal Upleg for Gold. Not without volatility, but worth applying a 2.5% of my Portfolio Value? I suspect the Upside is greater than the Downside. As always, I value your thoughts!
Thanks. Austin

Q: Could you comment why Kirkland Lake Gold (KGI) is lagging other similar gold miners
like Detour Gold(DGC),Richmont Mines(RIC) and Newmarket Mines(NMI)?
These companies seem to be outperforming Kirkland Lake.
Thanks for your help.

Q: I was thinking of getting back into gold in some way. I recently sold barrick and newmont for pretty good returns. I currently have SLV and PPLT for metal ETFs. What would be the best gold miner to get into?
Thanks,
Andrew

Q: I have a large portfolio of 1.3 Mil in value. They are accross all sectors. I will be adding another 200k shortly. I have no precious metals in my portfolio as I was not comfortable with the volatility. What would you suggest for percentage amount of precious metals and what companies, ETF's
would you suggest. Is holding physical gold less volatile that companies?
If so, is there an ETF that holds physical gold.

Q: Cameco has dropped to a 12-year low; buy now, or wait? Do you think management will maintain the dividend?
Q: Hi Peter and Ryan,
Could you comment on FM latest quarterly result. What is your longer term outlook for the stock and the base metal sector? I still currently own the stock and am undecided on selling or still holding after it's huge run from $2 but still down from $20.
Thanks for the great service,
Angelo

Q: I'm thinking about taking a position in physical gold before the US election thru either MNT or PHY.U. could you compare and tell me the differences between these 2 vehicles. Which is better? I'm thinking about taking a 10% position and increasing cash to 40% leading up to the election. Thoughts on this strategy?
Q: Peter; Gold is up roughly $10-11. this am and the XGD is down, along with gold stocks of course. Does this indicate anything to you from your trading days m I.e. is the " market" saying the stocks are overdone or? Thanks, Rod
Q: Could you comment on their earnings.
Q: Hello All, could you please give your view on RIO.N? Thankyou.
Q: Scotia iTrade (and presumably other brokers as well) offers two different Sherritt bonds for purchase: Coupon 8%, maturity 15-Nov-2018, yield-to-maturity 43.94%; Coupon 7.5% maturity 24-Sep-2020, YTM 29.08%.
Two questions: (1) How can the earlier bond maturity have the higher YTM? It seems it should be the opposite.
(2) I assume that an annual yield of 44% essentially mean that the probability of bankruptcy by the first maturity date is very high. Is there a likelihood of any substantial "recovery" (i.e. less than 100%) in the event of default? What is your opinion of the risk / reward if I were purchase the 2018 bond?
Thanks!

Q: I was wondering if you could offer any comments on these two companies: IPT (Impact Silver) and PNE (Pine Cliff Energy). I took positions of approximately 0.5% in each about a month back (I do consider them quite speculative), and have done well with IPT (up about 20%), while I am about even on PNE (down about 5%). I do feel that silver could do well within the next three years, and I also feel that natural gas could do better this upcoming winter. Please let me know what you think about the companies, as well as their management teams; and if possible, your sentiments towards silver and natural gas at the current moment, as well as into the near future. Thanks so much!
