Q: Good Morning,
Any thoughts on Eric Sprott taking at least a 10% equity interest in RNX? I know they have been diversifying away from nickel into gold, the market seems to like the news right now up 13%.

Q: Over the past few years I have purposely avoided the materials and energy sectors. By doing so I outperformed the market from 2012 to 2015. This year the market is outperforming my portfolio handily largely due to large increases in these sectors. Could you provide 3 companies in each sector that I may consider purchasing for a long term hold. I am interested in companies that pay a dividend and have some opportunity for capital appreciation.

Q: Looking to build a small portfolio of energy stocks that are diversified about 6 names that have a good growth potential and are in oil, gas , coal, uranium.

Q: your opinion on buying a gold bullion etf, and any suggestions as to which one

Q: I have been following CSO due their ownership and met coal. I have heard some suggest that part of Teck's stock performance has been due to improving out look for met coal. What do you see as the prospects for CSO?

Q: What is with this company they are now starting to get buy recommendations. Earlier this year they were at 2008 levels then took off the same as this year. With no buy recommendations in 2008 or first part of 2016. Is this a buy,sell or hold if already owned.

Q: I would like your thoughts on copper and whether now is a good entry point and any stocks you would recommend, for example NCU, CPER, COPX or other. I have a long term horizon (> 5 years).

Q: May I have your thoughts on the latest news from Aquila? They appear to have obtained some permits from the authorities and the stock was bid up on Friday. Is bulk sampling on the horizon or are they more likely to diamond drill the ore body to get a better handle on the grades and consistency?. Are the option holders in the money?

Q: FR is down a lot this morning, do you know why? What do you think of buying some at these prices?

Q: I am confused on this company and their special .45cent dividend. Yesterday you stated that you felt that the company stock would drop today as its the ex-dividend date.
However the company's news release on 8.4.16 stated that it would be paid to shareowners as of Sept 2nd. I have been careful not to sell my shares until this date and now, as you predicted, the price of the shares have fallen today. My thought was that today's date simply referred to the 1.5cent regular dividend.

Based on the 13% drop in the share price (4.20 to 3.65) I even acquired more shares thinking I would be getting more of the special dividend. However reading your answer from yesterday after my purchase, I might have snookered myself. (Wouldn't be the first time...)
Can you clear up this up for me.

Q: Gold and gold stocks have been dropping steadily over the last two to three weeks, with many down 10% to 20%. Can you tell us why? Is current or pending US policy a factor here.?

Is it time to sell these stocks before gold drops further? Or is this just a normal "zag" in the continuing upward zig-zag of gold prices? If so, should we hang on a little longer?
