Q: Hi Peter, can I get your thoughts on Teck. Its seems to have trouble getting thru the $35.00 level, I've held since 2013 where I bought it at $24.00, saw it go to 3.80 and now its back up. Is there any particular reason for this resistance at the $35.00 level, what would it take to break thru this level and is that possible. Thanks, Nick
I have held AR for quite a while but still under water. It seems to have some life lately and wondering whether to sell it and move on (no gold holdings other than this) or wait a bit longer. How do the fundamentals look on it? Any chance it might be the target of a takeover?
Q: Hello 5i,
With the news regarding K92 Mining and the drop yesterday and today, I am wondering if K92 is still a good holding as part of my 5% gold "insurance". If gold goes up in the future, will K92 follow? I was thinking that it's one of those "when the tide rises all the boats follow" situation but I'm not so sure anymore. Thanks!
Q: I think I see an opportunity in material and mining stocks.
I own FM, HBM and TECK.B.
Could you provide three or four other names that appear have some tailwinds and any headline risk I should be aware of.
Thank you
Kyle
Q: Why does mux keep dropping with the price of gold rising and their recent purchase of black fox, one would think the share price should be differently reflected.
Was black fox a mistake, why were the earnings down in the last quarter and with gold seemingly headed higher what should I expect from mcewen going into the next quarter or two and/or over the coming year. Thank you
I am thinking of taking a position in Rio Tinto and would like to get your comments on this company. Also your outlook on resources/metals in going forward would be much appreciated.
Q: Outside of Gold I only hold TV in the materials sector. Can you name a few equities that you would recommend that are not oil related? What weighting would you suggest for this sector overall? Thank-you as always.
Q: things seem to aligning for TV in terms of increase demand for zinc but not enough supply. Bought in based on the addition to the growth portfolio. As this is a cyclical stock do these cycle last for years or should one be planning to exit once a meaningful gain is realized?
Q: Hi, do you thing FR is still the best way to have exposure to a silver company or are there operational issues causing the weakness? If you had to pick a your top silver company right now what would it be?
