Q: I would appreciate your analysis of the recently-released quarter for McEwen Mining and your view on gold in the near term. A pundit on TV today said gold looks good because of the low CAD. How does a low dollar help gold when it's priced in USD?

Q: My only gold holding is McEwen Mining (MUX)and I am looking at either Kirkland Lake (KL) or B2Gold (BTO).
BTO has almost one billion shares outstanding while KL has less than 200M although their respective market caps are close in size. Is this a determining factor and which one would you favour, and why?
MUX was my first choice because the CEO owns 25% of the company, he has a great track record and they have no debt. Good choice?

Any new news on BTO? Knowing the sector is out of favour,and gold trading down lately, their quarter results were not that bad! Production in line with estimates. something is not right. I am long the stock.
