Q: Gold has had a good run up the last three months. Would you still advise buying it at this point in time ? If so, what form would you prefer (bullion or bullion surrogate, royalty receiver, equities (large or small) or an ETF ? Do you have a particular company you would prefer ?
Q: What is your opinion on Yamana Gold, given its recent move around the rise of underlying asset. Is it a strong company that will move in line with Gold or is there another or others better suited?
Q: This one seems interesting. Brookfield owns 80%, just raised the dividend plus a special dividend and palladium is a precious metal.Your opinion will be appreciated.
Q: I am thinking of putting some money in gold and would like to get your thoughts on if I should put the money in gold etfs or stocks in gold producers. Your thoughts on this would be appreciated. Also would you please recommend some names in both gold etfs and gold producers.
Cheers,

Q: With financing announced from Sprott to begin mine development, wouldn’t you expect a bigger reaction from the market? What are your thoughts on the news?
Q: Since May there has been frequent news regarding China - US rare earth disruptions. Has the price of rare earths increased since May? Has Oaktree's position in NEO changed since your last update about a month ago?
I understand NEO manufactures a broad range of light and heavy rare earth engineered products. Another segment of the company distributes a broad range of light and heavy rare earth functional materials. Is disruptive trade news and potential/real price adjustments positive or negative for NEO?
Another segment of NEO is the production of magnetic powders used in bonded and hot deformed fully dense magnets. What do you think of the recent deal (i.e. NEO's agreement to purchase of Asia Magnets (SAMAG), a privately owned manufacturer in Chuzhou, China, of compression molded NdFeB bonded magnets)?
Following this through, what would you anticipate the Q2 earnings on Aug 12, I believe, to look like?
Q: Would like to add a couple of gold stocks to my TFSA portfolio. Can you suggest some names that you like at this time and rank them in order of preference. Would it be a good time to add these stocks to ones portfolio. Your opinion in greatly appreciated.
thanks
