Q: What is your favorite gold stock? Looking to invest $100K in Gold Stocks or ETF's. I think that stocks are going to take a much larger drop and I am looking for at least a little bit of stability. I don't hold any gold or precious metals stocks right now. I can handle the risk.

Q: Hello,
I’d like your opinion on phys.ca. I’m holding a small amount that I bought at $13 and the price is down a little. Is now a good time to average in or do you think it’s still too early?. What are your thoughts on Projections of $1800 plus per oz? This will still be a relatively small holding in a trading account.

As always thank you for your insight.
Dave

Q: Never owned this resource stock; however, it's B.S. is pristine. With this COVID-19 situation and a high probability of things really slowing down, this stock probably has more downside - or not? My feeling are, you buy this one when there is blood in the street: high PE. The other thing is, they pay no dividend of any consequence, which they could afford. I don't think I've ever owned a resource stock other than O & G.

Appreciate your comments.

Q: With a highly leveraged ETF like JNUG getting wiped out 90+%, what is the risk/reward of having a small position at current levels? If the sector sees a recovery and the fund returns to even close to where it had been there's potential for a small investment to be worth something if you took profits and sold the position. On the other hand, if there is an extended downturn, what is the risk of just holding the position aside from opportunity cost? Thanks.

Q: Is it likely that when the dust settles after this crisis, with all the government spending, that we may enter into a period of hyper inflation? In your opinion, would I be better off sitting on cash or gold?

Q: Peter and His Wonder Team
It is my understanding that MDI is one of the best drilling companies in the world. I realize that a recession would reduce the demand for minerals, fuels etc. and reducing income. However 50% of there contracts is drilling for gold which does look positive for the next several years. Larry Berman on BNN predicts gold will hit $1900.00 within 2 years. So I am wondering if this might be a good contrarian investment at all time low prices or is this just another value trap. Your general assessment would be appreciated. Thank you immensely.

Q: Good Morning,
There has been a lot of talk about the value of owning gold in a portfolio recently. I was wondering if you could let me know how I can go about owning gold inside my TFSA? In addition, would now be a good time to buy gold, or would it be better to wait until markets rebound. In other words, is gold a better buy when markets are doing well.

Regards,

Ryan

Q: Hi, my question is more about next time the market goes into bear territory...
I currently own "SIL - Global X Silver Miner ETF" and always thought it would do better in market downturn. However, i am down 45% over past 3 weeks. Please help me understand why is it down so much.
