Q: Hi 5i experts,

I noticed this penny gold mine stock has very high deposit potential of 1.6M Ounce. One question though is the high institutional holding. Why there are over 50% institutional holding for this penny stock? I heard before that institutions normally only buy stocks above $5. I checked other gold mine stocks and most of the penny stocks have high insider holding but very few institution holdings. Does the high institution holding means a lot of fund managers see this stock as a good upside potential?

Thanks,

Adam

Q: I am wondering what the most relevant gold price is. I see the December gold futures contract displayed on BNN as of yesterday, and which just touched 2k, but that contract seems a little far out (time wise). Shouldn't they be showing the September or October contract prices when the August contract 'rolls over'? Is the spot price the most relevant price, or the front month contract? When exactly is a futures contract considered 'rolled over'? What is a reliable source for the gold spot price?

Please deduct as many credits as necessary and help me clear up my confusion. Thank you.

Q: Hello 5i,
I'm currently holding a 2.44% position in XGD etf. I would like to add 2.5% to either a junior gold etf or gold bullion CGL.C.T. My concern is has gold climbed to rapidly. Should I wait for a better entry position. If you have other gold buying suggestions or not, please add. Thank You. Walter

Q: Dynacor, DNG. This looks like a nice small low risk and cash strong gold business. With lots of torque potential in the current macro economy and gravitation towards gold. At $1800 ++ in gold price near/mid term do you feel the same? What could I be missing?Other than gold price moving significantly lower and possible geopolitical risk.

Q: Hello Peter,
Based on your last reply, i agree day to day movements is not something to worry about; however, i am noticing Novo Resources and Karora Resources are showing either lower stock movements or trending lower whereas the sector is surging.. is there any news? Also, can you recommend a good silver ETF; I was thinking of SLVP OR SIL. Please advise. Thanks
