Q: I noticed that most gold stocks are off their 52 week high, while other materials stocks have made new highs. With the price of gold still high, have gold stocks been negatively impacted by the rally in bitcoin?

Q: Hi 5i:
Great advice in2020! Wonderful service. I currently hold KL and ABX at @ 2.5% of portfolio. Looking to add a junior producer to increase my weighting. Which would you prefer from EQX, WDO and BTO and what advantage would it have over the other choices? In addition, having done well with TOU (2%), I would like to add to my gas position. My choice is ARX. Advice or other suggestions please. Existing positions and new purchases would be in TFSA. Please deduct form question credits as appropriate.
To staff and families at 5i - be safe and stay well and thank you.

Q: If I am purchasing AEM today, would you purchase a full position or part of. This would be my only gold play.
Would you also give me your clarification as to what type of stock you would purchase in a TFSA and which in an RSP.

Q: I have 0% exposure to the materials sector at the moment. I prefer stocks that have a decent yield. I am allocating 8% to the materials sector? Does that sound reasonable? Also, how would you split the allocation between base metals and precious metals? Any suggestions for good stocks in this sector?
Please take the number of credits necessary.
Thank you,
Jason

Q: Peter and His Wonder Team
GORO is a gold company which is spinning off one of it's mines which will become Fortitude Gold I believe. I believe the transaction occurred on Dec. 31st. I have 10,000 shares of GORO. Please tell me what will happen to my shares. Will they now be divided up between two companies...if so at what rate...as of today nothing has changed on my TD Webbroker account and Fortitude Gold is not listed on the exchange. Thank you for helping me to understand...it is always a worry when you don't know what is going on! Much appreciated!

Q: Hello Peter,
I have an appropriate portfolio weight in Gold and Silver all of it leveraged through equity in producer companies big and small.
I want to do a seasonal trade in gold and cannot decide if it should be in physical metal, streaming company -WPM or producers leveraged to the price of the metal. What would you suggest? And if it is in gold producers, could you give me your top two suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

Q: Greetings All:
I bought 3K shares of U back when it was $8.00, and before the Big Meltdown. With the current popularity of SMR'S and green energy do you think that it is still too early for the Big U to make a comeback. Cigar Lake is shut down again. Your opinion. Would I be adding to a dead horse?
Thanks,
Ben.

Q: Two questions;
I'm interested in adding uranium to my portfolio. What are 5i suggestions for blue-chip holdings and the best juniors?
If a sell a stock on Ex-dividend date of 12-30, who gets the dividend, me as the seller or the buyer?
