Q: Hello 5i
LAC has been doing rather well lately and I've managed to let it run. I expect an increase in volatility and am wondering just how long and how far the market will take LAC. Would you like to hazard a guess ?
Any opinion on taking a little off the table or holding for a while longer? The position is growing but obviously that's not a bad thing !
Thanks
Mike

Q: Hi,
Could you please help me understand the reason for the recent decline in stock price for Lundin Gold. It seemed choppy for the previous few months but very recently has tumbled.
Thanks

- CCL Industries Inc. Unlimited Class B Non-Voting Shares (CCL.B)
- Lundin Mining Corporation (LUN)
- iShares S&P/TSX Global Gold Index ETF (XGD)
- Ivanhoe Mines Ltd. (IVN)
- Neo Performance Materials Inc. (NEO)
- Ero Copper Corp. (ERO)
- Kirkland Lake Gold Ltd. (KL)
- Reliance Inc. (RS)
- Nutrien Ltd. (NTR)
Q: My Materials sector needs to be increased to about 10% of portfolio - currently I have only 1.3% - all held in KL (underwater 15%).
I note you have ccl.b in the Balanced Portfolio but it does not seem to be in your recent recommendations for Materials ? ?
At the moment my shopping list looks like this:
LUN, IVN, ERO, NEO, NTR, RS, FCX, XGD ( Sell KL ??) , CCL.b ??
Would appreciate your assessment and comments and suggestions for alternatives. Dividend not necessary.
Use whatever number of question credits req'd. Thanks as always.

Q: In response to a question about SSJ you said:Its record of execution is not that great, though, and investors likely want more consistency here.
I woud be interested about eactly what you mean.
Thanks

Q: Thoughts on Sandstorm Gold please and is Maverix your favourite or are there other Gold Royalty companies at cheaper valuations? Thanks.
Q: Why is there such a large discrepancy between these two royalty company share price performance over the last year? MTA revenues seem like they are abysmal (and look like they declined?) while MMX revenues increased significantly (~30%). Would a lateral move from MTA to MMX be a good idea at this time?
Q: Your thoughts on Goldhaven please.Thanks.
Q: Could you please provide an update in Trevali? It has announced restarting the Caribou mine with positive cash flow and forward selling some of the production. Given the market's favourable lean toward base materials and precious metals would you recommend it?
Thank you
Thank you

- Agnico Eagle Mines Limited (AEM)
- Jaguar Mining Inc. (JAG)
- Maverix Metals Inc. (MMX)
- Equinox Gold Corp. (EQX)

Q: SKE:CA has been doing a of drilling and I can not read their results could give your opinion , is company going to have viable gold mine ???
Jim.

Q: Do you see small holding in Bitcoin as a reasonable hedge against inflation. I am thinking of 2-3% of my portfolio? I would likely get exposure through an ETF.
Thanks, Mike
Thanks, Mike
Q: Hello all, I am hoping you can compare these two companies in terms of the different metals they are exposed to (if you have the percentages at your disposal so much the better). Also, could you provide a mini-risk assessment of the two? I know their are differences as to royalty versus operator, market cap, geography and valuation, and I’m sure many other things, but I’m having trouble assessing it all.
Thank you!
Thank you!
Q: Hello 5i Could you comment on QMC as a company as to its future growth and prospects.
Q: Could you please give your perspective on gold vs silver vs Bitcoin. Could please also give a couple large, medium and small cap silver stocks that would be good growth investments if silver continues to break out.
- Lithium Americas Corp. (LAC)
- American Lithium Corp. (LI)
- E3 Lithium Ltd Com (ETMC)
- Sociedad Quimica y Minera S.A. (SQM)
Q: Hi 5i. I am interested in the lithium space. I have listed three stocks that I have found. Would you recommend this space and if so what would be your favourite? It doesn't have to be from my list.
Thanks again for your reasoned advice.
Cathy
