Q: Hello,
in your response to Robert's question on December 14th about uranium names to play, you mentioned DML and EFR but not NXE. I know your general feeling towards the sector and in your last comment about NXE in February of this year you stated that it is pre-revenue and will probably be next year as well.

I do note that 3 analysts consider it a moderate buy, and one a strong buy. It's share price has been trending up since the pandemic sell-off earlier this year, and it has caught the updraft that has moved most uranium stocks over the last month or so.

I'd appreciate hearing any updated views you may have on this one.

Marc.

Q: I noticed that 2 analysts have reduced their price targets for Kirkland Lake significantly and it has been lagging behind some of the other gold companies recently.

Any ideas what has changed the sentiment on the company? Are you feeling less positive about its prospects going forward?

thanks for your insight

Q: Looking to add some above gold/miners to my TFSA. Of the companies listed above please rank strongest to weakest and are there any above that you would add/delete? My RRSP holds FNV (full position). Is it best to hold these companies in Canadian or US in the TFSA?
Please deduct as many points as required.
Thanks, Lexi

Q: Hello. Can I get your thoughts on some uranium names to play (excluding CCO), rare earth companies and precious metals (platinum, palladium etc)? A few comments plus names would be great. Deduct points as required. Stay safe.

Q: Any insight into the metal Platinum? Why it’s caught fire and potential where it might go? I am interested in the material in symbol PLTM and a mining company Sibanye-Stillwater symbol SBSW.

Thx!

Q: Hi,

I'd like to take some positions in copper producers. I have read some of your recent comments on mid cap producers and will be taking positions in 3 of them. I'd also like to get your thoughts on these smaller producers from an article I read recently.
Aura Minerals, Capstone Mining, Copper Mountain, Taseko, Marimaca Copper (note Marimaca symbol would not come up.)
Looking out at each companies FY20 and FY21 potential earnings, Capstone offers the highest earnings potential (from your Companies page data).
I also see that these collectively have had pretty good % moves in the last 3-5 years. I assume this is because of perhaps mines coming onstream/newly developed.
Which of these above companies are most investable? Or do you prefer other juniors to add to this list you? Please list in order of investing preference.
I think I'll get the most torque (albeit risk) by adding mid cap and juniors. My objective is to add 5 copper miners total...3 mid, 2 junior.

Cheers,
SteveMc

Q: Morning team,

It seems like base metals, especially copper, have been on a run lately, and I keep hearing the narrative that all the global government stimulus is/will fuel a bull market based around infrastructure spending. My questions are; 1) do you generally agree with this theory?, and 2) which base metals companies do you prefer? So far I've been looking at RIO, TECK, and FCX.

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

Q: I am trying to like CEE however a dividend of that size for such a smaller gold producer concerns me. Where are they getting the money to pay such a large percentage and why are they doing it. Addtionally, the same company trades in London (CEY) and there it trades at approximately 130 British Pounds with a very large volume while here in Canada, it's a $2 stock and much smaller volume. Can you help me like this company....thanks
