Q: Could you comment on this morning's press release from Callidus. Is there anything material, or is it just an update that things are progressing as expected. Would you still expect a privatization to occur at $20+. The press release says that "Catalyst Capital Group...remains committed to completing a transaction on terms that will ensure the continued protection of the interests of its public shareholders."

Q: Would you buy or sell HCG at current price $27.57
Q: would it not be prudent to hold off on adding or initiating a position here considering they just announced a reduction in their fund fees? some of these fees have dropped by 30% or so. what % of their income actually comes from fund fees? this is definitely going to have at least some impact on earnings going forward.
thanks Tom

Fiera Capital Corporation Class A Subordinate Voting Shares (FSZ $6.07)
Q: Good morning my question concerns cxi which I hold but in a 1.6% position compared to your 4.12% but in that sector I am looking at adding gsy as an alternative and to give diversity simply because you have recommended it as one of the top ten holds in one of the last questions. my concern with cxi is the volatility that it has had over the last two years. is there also another stock in your universe that could also be added to bring the total to the 4.12% position but with two to three stocks instead of one...thanks for the great service

Dynamic Active U.S. Dividend ETF (DXU $71.01)
Q: DXU is a new ETF and would appreciate your thoughts on it. Is this a good time to purchase or would it be best to do a "wait and see"? I currently hold ZUB and am wondering if it should be switched to an ETF that is not hedged. Which bank ETF would you consider for the unhedged or would you go with a single US bank. Thanks for your advice.
Q: I currently own National Bank and am thinking of selling it for CIBC. Would this be a prudent move given the likelihood of a stock split?
Many thanks, Peggy

Q: What does today's announcement mean for this company?
Q: Following up on earlier question today by Stephane about MFC. I agree with your assessment that results were good. Any explanation why stock is underperforming today? Is there 'new' news that I missed?

Q: I own 3 banks - TD, BNS and RY. Over the past 3+ months, TD share price has definitely underperformed the other 2 banks. It seems this happens every day. Can I get your view on TD? Do you still like it?
thanks

Q: VFH is a US ETF with broad coverage of US banking. The bank ETFs & stocks took a big jump after the US election. Do you think all the potential upside is already priced in? Is there a Canadian ETF providing the same exposure that you would recommend or is VFH the best approach here? Many thanks.
Q: Bought this company for the dividend and some growth, also company is trying to go private thus I believe creating quite the swing in s hare price. What is your opinion of the companies valuation, safety of dividend and how to deal with the prospect of the company going private? I know the company is buying shares on the open market so do you have a feeling for how long this process might take and if one day there may be a premium offer for the balance of the outstanding shares?
