Q: Could you assess this company and potential growth. It has performed well over the past 9 years. Can it sustain this trend given interest rates and it's debt load.

Q: I have owned and added to these three US banks over the past 12 months. I'm down on Citigroup and have done well with JPM and BAC. I have 25 years before I need the money, should I sell Citigroup and add to the other two or keep all three.
Q: BNS recently acquired assets totalling $7b over a short period. resulting in downgrade by BAC,& Merill Lynch to neutal & RBC(sector perform Tp$86 fr.$95) & NA(sector per,Tp $85 fr $88),There is a fear of indigestion.BNS is making purchases @ the heights(so far) of a 9/10yrs(long tooth) bull market. There are doubts from some circles about the strength of the global markets, where BNS invests.Your views please. Is this a good time to buy/nibble? Thanks foru normal great services & views.
Q: EFN continues to run higher. Any insight as to why the renewed positive interest?
Thanks

Q: Have done well with CXI. Also have BNS and TCN for financials. Your last few answers and report have me thinking of selling CXI and buying GSY. Would you make this move or just leave it, long time frame.
Q: I am wondering why BNS is maintained in the Balanced and Income portfolios instead of TD given that the latter has consistently outperformed. Over 10 years TD price is up 125% and BNS 50%. Given your philosophy of looking for strong momentum would TD not be a better replacement? Some insight into your thoughts here would be useful.
Many thanks.

Q: One of the articles you posted recently listed Invesco as a good dividend stock for consideration. What do you think? Does it have a good record of increasing dividends? It has been on a significant downtrend of late - is that likely to turn around in the near term? The Fed looks set to jack us US rates over the next year, so I'm wondering how Invesco would do in that environment. Thanks for you advice.
Q: Between V or JPM, which would you prefer?
Q: MOGO seems to have bottomed after a long decline and there is also strong insider buying. I would appreciate your view on this company. Peter

Q: Your opinion on FN for income, long hold as opposed to Fierra. Thanks
Q: I have a large holding of WFS.PR.A. I have done reasonably well on it, with 5.25% return on capital distribution and a stable price, it was much better than any other fixed income I held.
Here is my dilemma, I have to either redeem it now or hold until 2025. Expecting interest rate to go up, I am not sure it will hold its value. My thinking is to redeem it now and perhaps buy it later at a lower price, or just move to other investment. I know this decision is mine, but I highly value your opinion on what you think my best option would be.
Thanks

Q: Thanks for your response on ECN revenues. Would you please advise consensus earnings for the two years 18 and 19 as once again I have too wide a variance - between - 0.14 and + 0.68 stated for the current year, to make an investment decision.
Q: My impression is that 5i has been quite bullish on ECN over time - so the recent price surge triggered additional research, only to find that 2018 and 2019 revenue estimates were well below current levels, -40%, which is a potential significant disconnect with respect to price appreciation for that period. Do you concur and what would be the impact of continuing rate rises.
Q: Hi Group - looking at buying a stock in the financial sector looking for most growth with lease risk. Also div would be good but not imperative. Presently own both TD + Nova Scotia. Also BOA + C in the US. I was thinking that JP Morgan or Visa would be good choices Canadian banks are not acting well even after their recent stellar earning. The us appears to be a better choice. Maybe an insurance company works here ? Than for your advise

Q: What is your outlook for CWB? Thank you.
Q: I have held stock since 1997 and I am very happy to continue to hold the stock. Why is the stock price lagging the overall stock market?
Q: Any idea why EFN jumped today? I can't find any recent news at all. Thanks
