Q: I am wondering why BNS is maintained in the Balanced and Income portfolios instead of TD given that the latter has consistently outperformed. Over 10 years TD price is up 125% and BNS 50%. Given your philosophy of looking for strong momentum would TD not be a better replacement? Some insight into your thoughts here would be useful.
Many thanks.

Q: One of the articles you posted recently listed Invesco as a good dividend stock for consideration. What do you think? Does it have a good record of increasing dividends? It has been on a significant downtrend of late - is that likely to turn around in the near term? The Fed looks set to jack us US rates over the next year, so I'm wondering how Invesco would do in that environment. Thanks for you advice.

Q: I have a large holding of WFS.PR.A. I have done reasonably well on it, with 5.25% return on capital distribution and a stable price, it was much better than any other fixed income I held.
Here is my dilemma, I have to either redeem it now or hold until 2025. Expecting interest rate to go up, I am not sure it will hold its value. My thinking is to redeem it now and perhaps buy it later at a lower price, or just move to other investment. I know this decision is mine, but I highly value your opinion on what you think my best option would be.

Thanks

Q: My impression is that 5i has been quite bullish on ECN over time - so the recent price surge triggered additional research, only to find that 2018 and 2019 revenue estimates were well below current levels, -40%, which is a potential significant disconnect with respect to price appreciation for that period. Do you concur and what would be the impact of continuing rate rises.

Q: Hi Group - looking at buying a stock in the financial sector looking for most growth with lease risk. Also div would be good but not imperative. Presently own both TD + Nova Scotia. Also BOA + C in the US. I was thinking that JP Morgan or Visa would be good choices Canadian banks are not acting well even after their recent stellar earning. The us appears to be a better choice. Maybe an insurance company works here ? Than for your advise

Q: I have held stock since 1997 and I am very happy to continue to hold the stock. Why is the stock price lagging the overall stock market?
