Q: I am needing to raise some cash and decided to trim my financials. I hold GSY (4.2%), V (5.6%), BNS (3.66%) , TD (3.65%), PRL(3.57%) and RY (2.51%) Total 23.19% My first thought is to eliminate BNS or TD. Alternatively I could eliminate both as I sense I am overweight financials with this basket. Given this mix which Bank would you lean towards eliminating, BNS or TD? Would you be comfortable letting them both go?

Q: If I have to pick one between EQB and IFC for RRSP, long term 5 + years stable growth in financial sector, which one it would be ?
-
Chubb Limited (CB)
-
Manulife Financial Corporation (MFC)
-
Sun Life Financial Inc. (SLF)
-
Trisura Group Ltd. (TSU)
Q: I am thinking of adding/increasing my position in an insurance company and have found that the combined ratio for both MFC and SLF are more than 100 while CB and TSU’s combined ratio is in the low 80. Does that mean MFC and SLF are not as profitable as CB and TSU? Which is a good buy currently? Thanks,
Q: BN earnings - your assessment? Appear strong. What are strong and weak points? Where do you see it landing 12months from now?
Q: Could you comment on the latest Q please. The income drop seems rather significant. Do you think the income drop is short term? Thanks.
Q: I have a 40% return on RY and am considering a switch to BNS.The risk seems reasonable and more rewarding.Would you agree?

Brookfield Corporation Class A Limited Voting Shares (BN)
Q: Please rank BN, KKR, BX and APO, in order of preference and what would be a good entry point.
Q: Many updates since the last review of this company. With new shares being issued at $4.75 I would hope this provides a level of support, but not sure I should be holding hoping to see results vs selling now after a nice run and waiting for the results first and then reinvesting.
Q: I would like your thoughts on MCan Financial today. Their results were good, but are they worth the jump today? They sold shares earlier in the year which got me nervous, but it seems like they are delivering.
Q: I appreciate previous concerns with Power, any update based on earnings. In general, the pace of interest rate declines appears to be moderating, is this good for insurance companies?
Q: The only financial stock I own is TD. I would like to sell this stock and replace it with 3 financial stocks. It is for a RRSP but have 15 years before the money will be used. What 3 financial stocks would you recommend to buy?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Just speculating on the possibility that propel could be bought out by one of the major banks in Canada-I don’t believe they offer a similar type of business and this seems like way to diversify a little
Q: A year ago I asked for your assessment of the prospects of Fiserv. A year later it is up substantially. Given its share price gains and recent earnings release I would appreciate an update on your assessment of the company over 3-5 years. I would also like your opinion on this stock being a buy, hold, or time to take some profit off the table?
Thanks very much.

Q: Hello
Brookfield Corp has smartly shot up to $82, from $75 level a few weeks ago, with stock showing strong momentum. It seems to have followed its private equity peers, with a favorable scenario after Trump win.
Company is also due to report in a couple of days.
We have a very small position < 1%, but like the Co a lot, being one of your favorites.
How would you approach building a position to at least 2% ? Would you be comfortable adding some shares, before the results and so at what price range ?
What is your recommendation to further consolidate this position, after results, if any weakness and price levels, please ?
Thank You
