Q: I am looking for US financial names to add to my existing exposures in PYPL, and V, Would you prefer the investment dealers or money center banks? Which names do you recommend in these sectors?

Q: What an interesting approach to my enquiry. I'm currently in the midst of a 30 day free trial and thus far I have posed two questions to your team. The first was answered professionally. The second was met with disdain and an indication that I am "out of credits" and should renew my membership. Fascinating. If anyone of any importance sees this and would like to take action to perhaps answer my second question, which was about GSBD:US, that would be appreciated. Thank you.

Q: Hi ,
I hear about Bitcoin, Dogecoin and all sorts of other coins and names. The complication of understanding them kept me on the sidelines, not to mention the wild daily fluctuations. I was wondering if an easier way to get some exposure to Bitcoin, directly or indirectly, would be to buy some shares in Square?
Your thoughts are appreciated.
Thanks

Q: Hi 5i,
I want to deploy some funds into Financial Services in a registered account for a 3-5 year hold. I know that 5i is bullish on GSY, and I wonder if you would recommend it over BNS for a hold of that length. Today I can buy about 1.85 BNS shares for every GSY share bought, and would thereafter pocket (at present rates) approximately 2.5 times more dividend return from BNS than from GSY for every dollar spent buying in. With the goal being to relatively safely make money over the 3-5 years, and assuming COVID is under control, no other pandemic strikes during the period and only 'normal' market forces prevail, do you see the likely capital appreciation plus dividend of GSY over the period outperforming the likely capital appreciation and higher yield of BNS during that same time? I know that GSY has had a great run over the past year, but now that the world seems to be settling back down I'm having difficulty understanding why I might consider putting money there instead of into something that's many orders of magnitude larger and also less expensive to buy, both in absolute terms and (I think) on most 'price to' metrics .
Thanks for helping me out.

Q: Considering adding a small position in my RRSP of FIH. I thought with all the bad news coming out of India this might be on sale, but price action appears to be hanging in on the high side. This would appear to bode well for when India gets Covid under control, thus making it attractive going forward. Your opinion and analysis please.

Many thanks.

Q: Hi, I'm wondering if you might be able to offer me any insight into Goldman Sachs Business Development Corp Inc (GSBD:US)? When I look it up on TMX.COM there is an indication that it is trading at a price earnings multiple of only 3.6, that it has earnings of $5.43 per share (which I assume is for the past year), it pays a quarterly dividend of $0.45 and is currently in the midst of paying several additional special dividends of $0.05 per share and that its current yield is over 9%. With those earnings per share the dividend looks to me to be highly sustainable. I'm wondering why it might be trading at such a low P/E multiple? Is there something highly risky about the source of the firm's earnings or some other aspect of its business? Thank you!

Q: I thought I heard a report that US banks would be allowed to resume share buybacks and resume or increase dividends effective June of this yr. Is that correct?
