Q: Could you comment on the Q. I understand their capital investments are lower but core business looks very strong? What does one make of these disparate parts? Is this a buy or sell?
Q: Hi 5i,
I'd be interested in your take on EQB, in light of their quarterly report and indicated investment losses. Thanks.

Q: TD and BMO recently issued preferred shares. TD 5 Year Rate Reset Series 28 yielding 7.232%, reset 4.2%. BMO 5 Year Rate Reset Series 50 yielding 7.376%, reset 4.25.
Both press releases both include the line "will issue to certain institutional investors"
Can retail investors purchase these? The rate and reset seem fantastic based on the quality of the issuers.

Q: Hi all,
I have full or close to full positions in 3 of the big 6 banks. Smaller positions in the others.
How do you feel ZWB would fit into the mix for income and potentially some growth?
Would it be a good compliment or would you just recommend sticking with the individual banks.
Thanks.

Q: I was just stopped out of CG on today's ex-dividend date. The stock took a precipitous drop, apparently, due to the announced departure of Kewsong Lee. I realize that this kind of thing happens all the time; however, is there a materially negative issue that should preclude my re-purchase of CG?
Thanks,
David

Q: I have held S&P Global for about a year and of course like the recent market this stock is lagging. I would like to hold on but I understand the recent earnings were not stellar. Your comments on the recent quarter as well as your overall thoughts on this holding would be much appreciated. I would like to hold for the long term. Thank You.

Q: Can I have your opinion on this ETF. Is there a better choice for safety and income Thx
Q: Hi good people,
I understand that techs like SHOP, LSPD, NVEI and CTS are riskier stocks than the average TSX stock.
Would you say GSY is as risky, or as I suspect, somewhat less so?
Can you estimate how much less risky, if it is indeed less risky?
Please use a 2 year time frame if possible.
Thanks!
Mike

Q: As a follow-up to Blake's question of today, you note that FSZ "remains a higher risk income stock". What risk are you referring to - that the dividend (which has been very high for many years) will be cut or that the stock will drop significantly or both? I know that dividends are not guaranteed, but given the backers behind this company, I wonder what is new here for you to include this caveat?
Appreciate your insight.
