Q: Hi,
What is your opinion on stock picking vs ETF investing. How many ETF's should one hold in a portfolio of say $100k. What would your ETF recommendations be for such a portfolio as there are so many of them out there and it is difficult to choose one from the other.

Q: Hello Peter and Team
First off keep up the excellent work!
My question revolves around a RESP. We max out contributions each year and currently we have $2500 invested, another 2500 in cash with approx $1000.00 coming in from the Fed. Gvt.(grant program) The 2500 is in ZCN. We would like to look at an emerging market and or bio tech etf as a second holding what would you suggest and why? Additionally if there is another etf in another sector that you believe would be a good buy currently or in the next few months please let us know.
Once again much appreciated and have a great week!

Q: I am 74 yrs old so I like to pick stocks etc with a decent yield but also short term growth prospects, i.e. 5 years. I have been following your replies in regard to financial sector/banks and wonder what would be better; a higher yielding financial company/bank or an ETF specialising in these. One I have considered is zwb. What do you think? Thanks in advance.

Q: Peter ; When deciding to buy a ETF is it better to consider the MER over liquidity ? In particular the new Ishares XEC and XEF products with low fees but little liquidity. Thanks.

Q: Hello. New member here !
I bought WXM (First Asset Morningstar Canada Momentum Index ETF) last week. Good or bad idea ?
NAV is small; is it a problem for an ETF that hold 30 widely held canadian stocks ?

Q: I currently hold CUD. As it is hedged to the Cdn$, and as I am concerned that the US$ will continue to strengthen, is there a fund that I can buy that tracks the dividend aristocrats in America but isn't hedged? I can't seem to find one.
Thanks
