Q: Hi Guys
It seems during the last year that the Mag7 have really had their time in the sun. I am wondering if there might be some rotation out of these names. Wondering where you thought the best returns would be over the next few years in a S&P 500 type ETF:
1) XSP - iShares Core S&P 500 Index ETF
2) An Equal Weight S&P 500 Index like Invesco S&P 500 Equal Weight Index ETF, 3) or or something like the Vanguard Dividend Appreciation ETF.
What ETF would you think would do the best
Thanks
Stuart

Q: Dear 5i team.
I'm sure there is an answer to this in the archives, just not sure how to search. Maybe with AI, you folks can give us the option of searching like a google search? IE with a sentence vs needing to know ticker? (May put some of the folks out of work, so understand if this is not a high priority. :)
Can you tell me which US or Global ETF is focussed on building arms and munitions for military purpose? I'd like to take the aviation part out if possible, as I'd prefer to stay far away from Boeing for the time being.
Many thanks for your help.

Q: Good Afternoon,
When using the 60/40 etfs (VBAL, XBAL, ZBAL) in an RRSP, what would you consider to be the most prudent way of splitting up +$100,000 for a long term hold (30-40 years)?
Ie:
100% in one etf?
50/50 split between two etfs?
3 way split between three etfs?
And in general, at what dollar value in a single 60/40 etf do YOU start to feel uncomfortable?
Thank you!

Q: Hi, I’m retired and have a $75,000 rrsp that I’m looking to invest. Would like two ETF’s one Canadian one U.S that complement one another, or four to five stocks.
Would like the suggestions to be fairly conservative with possibly 3-4% dividend. ( don’t really need the money). I’m slightly favouring the etf’s as I want a buy and hold portfolio with a sleep at night possibility. I do have lots of financial and energy stocks already, ( fyi) I know there is always risk that I’m willing to accept.
Thanks for your suggestion

Q: Is there an ETF that tracks the s&p but excludes the mag 7 ?
Q: I have a no. of ETFs with OPTIONS on its 30% approx applied to generate extra income. Naturally it is higher risk/reward but I can not find how to access monthly (or annual) reports on Div income, Options gain/loss or dilution of Equity. Specially Equity dilution is a concern and I wonder if they can avoid informing shareholders such important information.
Q: My daughter is just getting her start investing after setting up a TFSA. What is recommended for the initial $7000? ETF’s? Stocks like CSU, BRK.B?

Q: Re. Heather’ s question on Jan. 23 about North America’s electrical infrastructure and the need to up-grade the grid . Been thinking the same and there is a U.S. ETF - First Trust Nasdaq Clean Edge Smart Grid Infrastructure - ticker GRID - for consideration should she wish broader exposure through an ETF.
Q: Could you please indicate a preference between the two and why. Intentions are to hold in a registered account for a long term period 15-20yrs.
Thanks
Thanks

Q: I recently transferred my employer TFSA account to my trading account, so I now manage my entire TFSA. I have many solid growth names, and have XIU and BNS as a dividend/diversification play.
I am looking for a solid set it and forget it Dividend play to DRIP, and have some share price appreciation for long term.
Would BAM or FTS be your top pick for this type of thing? Can you provide say 7 or 8 of your top picks for dividend growth, business development runway, and a higher dividend? I had considered growing XIU significantly to drip more, since its diversification almost guarantees the set it and forget side of things.
Thanks for all your recent help! I'm definitely ripping through some credits this month. ;)
