Q: Hi,
After reading disturbing reports about Shopify's business practices, such as not enforcing its own acceptable use policy against its merchants selling nazi-related products, and its COO's board-level involvement with a far right wing media group, do you have any suggestions for ethical growth companies in Canada or the US to replace this name in my portfolio?
Thank you. Michael

Q: Apologies if this has been answered previously. This is a follow up to Ross’ question about these one stop shop ETFs. You mention, in this particular answer, that you consider them to be ‘more than acceptable’.

Assuming one doesn’t mind complicating their lives a little, what would be your optimal all-equity ETF portfolio for an aggressive investor ?

Thank you

Q: The fixed income portion of my portfolio is fairly low. Would now be a good time switch from equities into fixed income in bonds, or has the horse left the barn? What would be, in your opinion, some suggestions for fixed income?
Much appreciated.

Q: At 60 I suddenly find myself semi-retired. Although it's a few years earlier than anticipated, I'm actually pretty excited - I've used the CRA retirement calculator (an excellent tool) and have a solid plan. I do need to make a $150,000 RRSP account last until I am 70 when I plan on applying for CPP and OAS. I want to pull $18,000 per year from the RRSP account a so it does require some growth. Can you suggest a mix of US and Canadian holdings and or etf's (about 50% allocation each country) for such a scenario? Thanks so much.

Q: Hi Peter and team,

Your views on these new ETFs (bgro-q and nbos-n)?

What would be your favorites ETFs in the same fields ?

Gratefully,

Q: I'm looking to add some tech exposure and am considering one of the following three ETFs: QMAX, HTA, TXF.
They're all pretty similar but which one do you feel is the best for long term growth and income and why?
I know QMAX's strategy is a little bit different than the other two in that they use "at the money" calls ... is this a positive or a negative?

Thanks, Rick
