Q: Are any of the ARK funds involved in clean energy?
If not do you think adding a clean energy ETF would be complementary to owning ARK funds.
Thanks Peter

Q: Happy New Year!
I currently have no US exposure, Looking for some Canadian Based ETF US Tech exposure. Interested in XQQ. It has risen a lot the past year with the rest of the market. Is it buyable today? Do you have another preference? Is it suitable for a non-registered account?

Secondly, if I want to build up my US exposure using Canadian ETFs, can you give me some names I could start with?

Q: I was reading something from Paul Merriman where he recommends allocating a portion of your portfolio to a small cap value fund, particularly for investors with very long time horizons as he claims that historically this is one of the best performing categories over long periods. How do you feel about this strategy? I was considering either IWN or VTWV. Do you have a preference between these two and can you suggest a similar ETF for international (non US) small cap value?

Q: I have a fairly large holding of FIE. I like the large dividend and considering adding more to my position. What is your opinion about the sustainability of dividends for this ETF? Do you have any other high dividend stock/ETF you can suggest? This is for my TFSA.

Q: Hi guys! Asking for my parents, hope that's okay, your service has been very beneficial for me. They are currently living off their pension and have $60k in a TFSA that they would like to do something with for the next two-three years. Both roughly 65yrs old. They are looking for both a very safe, and also relatively safe recommendation please. Ideally, they are looking for a fairly hands off approach, where the risk of coming out at the end of it with less than they have is low. They are open to equity investing through a low fee brokerage, or looking at a service like one of the roboinvestor platforms, or anything else you'd recommend. Thanks I really appreciate it!

Q: Thx for mentioning these 2 actively global managed mutual funds in March for my RSP. I am looking for 1 more that 5i likes. I prefer a global mutual fund with a reasonable MER. Thx

Q: Anticipated a double bottom last March that never happened. Our RESP currently is 40% cash with 5 years to go before withdrawals. VBAL is the largest holding. Current valuations are holding me back from putting new money into equity index ETFs. The RESP has money in ZUT, up 32% and ZRE, up 12%. I am considering adding to these favoring ZRE because of its valuation. Do you concur? I would welcome some other alternatives, but I want to stay away from individual companies.
Thank you
