Q: with the Treasury Department starting to sell bonds this week, do you expect bond prices to drop? If so, how long in duration should the drop continue? Do you see this as a buying opportunity? if so, can you recommend bonds?

Q: I have some cash (in a non-registered account) that I will need to have access to sometime over the next six to eighteen months and am looking for somewhere to park it until needed. Because of the indeterminate timeframe I want to stay away from locking the funds in to a GIC or term deposit. Aside from slight differences in yield, MER and/or AUM are there any significant differences between the different high interest savings account ETF offerings and which would you suggest? Thanks.

Curious if you have suggestions for investing in Japan? We have been hearing more about the theme that Japan is in the begins of a bull market. I am wondering if there are good vehicles to particapte in a positive economic environment in Japan that will give us gains in excess of currency devaluation.

Q: Hello 5i
We currently hold CBO, CLF & XRB at 25/25/50% all as long term holdings in a slight loss position. I believe we are currently at (or very near) peak interest rates. Do you have any suggestions to bond replacements that might be better positioned to capture rate reductions for these holdings. (not accounting for the bonus of tax loss selling)

Q: I am looking to add exposure to Canadian Banks. Given current pricing it seems like a good time to add exposure. Can you rank your favourite banks at this time. Do you have a preferred Bank ETF that could also provide good Canadain Banking exposure.

Q: If one already has a 10% weighting in ITOT would an additional position in a small cap fund be warranted? Which ETF is preferred for small cap exposure and why - IJR or IWM? It appears IJR has outperformed on all timelines. Is this due to its more concentrated approach? Is there a global small cap etf that is recommended?

Q: My TFSA, holds my riskier investments and is 3 % of my total registered and non-registered accounts. I am looking at adding one of these two for a weighting of 25 % within my TFSA, so total allocation of this ETF to all accounts would be less than 1 %.

What is the difference between them and which is more appropriate? Thanks. Derek.
