Q: Hi 5i team
What is your opinion on EIT.UN ?. Looks stable with a high distribution payout . Also a sizeable investment by Brett Wilson recently.
Thanks

Q: I am looking for something to replace the bond part of my portfolio and would appreciate your comments of First Trust Senior Loan ETF. Like most I am very pleased to be a member of this great service.
Q: SIN.UN Not a question but a comment. SIN.UN traded up to 10% above NAV the last few weeks, now at a slight discount.

Q: SIN.UN, a supposedly well diversified and low beta dividend fund, is down almost 6% during this past week. Your explanation would be much appreciated.
Thank You

Q: Hi Peter, I am considering buying the closed-end fund First Asset Pipes & Power Income Fund (EWP.UN), mainly for income and diversification. The income seems very stable and the fund seems relatively concentrated. The MER looks fairly cheap at 0.75 per cent. But I am not very familiar with this type of product. NAV does not seem to be far from trading value. I would your view on this type of product generally and on this fund in particular. Thanks.
Q: Hi,
What do you think about FTN? It has grown nicely over the months due to the strength of the financial sector and coupled with capital gains is also paying a hefty dividend. Their dividend I think you mentioned is considered return of capital. What are the risks of investing in this product considering the finance sector continues its upward trend
Q: Could you give me your opinion on the BlackRock Dividend Income Trust (BQY-US). It is a closed-end fund selling at about 10% discount to its value. It has a nice yield,7.4%, but the fact sheet on this fund gives rather limited information; e.g.,no MER is listed. It seems small but would it be alright for income?
Q: Hi Peter
Back on August 26, 2013 a question re. BK shares was asked and your comments showed that you had no attractiveness in this fund. Today the fund is going to change their distribution policy and increase the class A share distribution by 42%. Does this make BK more attractive now.
Q: Good morning all.
I just heard of this quite new(mid 2011)fund TLF.UN and am wondering what sort of option this fund would be for following the tech sector in the US via the TSX. A Brompton Fund at (http://www.bromptongroup.com/funds/fund/tlf/overview) it pays a nice distribution and has a mgmt fee of 0.75 but I expect the MER is higher. It looks like it is holding 16 positions and is fairly active writing covered calls to boost returns. Does 5i have any knowledge of, insights on or opinions about this fund and would something like QQQX or other be a better vehicle for following the US tech sector? TLF is small and probably not that liquid.
Thank you again for your wonderful service and support!
Q: Would you be be able to comment on the quality of
management at CYB and how are these type of companies
valued? The stock is moving higher, but
not sure what a fair price would be at this point.
Thanks for you service. Gord
