Q: Could you comment on today's news release. There seems to be strong growth in patient visits and practitioners but is this at the expense of growing revenues and ultimately profits?

Q: Hello I am considering buying SLF at these levels $57 to $59 with a dividend yield of 4.75%.
I want to hold these shares for a minimum of 3 years, but more likely into the 5 year range.
I know this is a difficult question to ask, but based on your experience, how much downside % do you think this stock has?
I would like to buy in allotments over the next 3 months.
Suggestions, thank you.

Q: I've been sitting on my Q2 div revenues waiting for things to settle a bit. Looking to add to one off the 3 positions X, TD, SLF. Balanced/Income portfolio follower, moving towards income follower. 5+ yr hold. Conversely if there is a holding in the Income portfolio that is a screaming buy right now I would consider adding to that position or starting a new position if I don't already own it.
Q: the globe mail had a report from wells Fargo analyst saying things aren't looking good for shop. June numbers were down. analyst revised his price target down to 40. shop has consistently been one of your favourite growth picks. do you still feel this way. what do you make about specific claims from Wells Fargo.
Q: Northern Mat and Bridge was EIC’s largest acquisition. How do you think it will work out for the overall company in the long term? Will dividends increase more frequently now?
Thanks everyone

Q: I have some money to invest and looking for growth over the next 5 to 7 years. Between the 3, which one would you side with at the moment. If you have a better suggestion, feel free to give your insight. Thanks !
Q: Greetings, I already own PBH, ATB and COST but would like to add a consumer non-cyc. In order, I would like to protect against loss of capital, receive a greater than 2% dividend, and enjoy some reasonable growth. Which of the two above would you choose for a long term hold? If you could choose a U.S. name, is there one you prefer over both? Thank-you!
Q: Hi, Any comments on recent price action .Why Sylogist continues to make new multi year lows, while Tech sector, in general has gained some traction, over past week or so. There was a mention here of stock's long term support at $6.50 - $6.75 level. Why would retail investors keep selling, despite its solid organic growth prospects/possible acquisitions and very low risk to dividend ? based on its history dividend yield is now flirting with 7.50 - 8% - Is there a concern of a dividend cut ? We beefed up our holding along with 5i recently and like the company. What is the next support level and is it worth buying more now? We have owned it for several years and stock has fallen below our ACB of $6.57 and weight has dropped from 5% to below 2.5%. Thanks
Q: You mentioned that Topicus operates in $USD. Did you mean that they make their acquisitions using this currency, or is it the currency utilized by their operating groups on a day to day basis? Thanks.
Q: Hi Peter
SYZ has declined significantly. I know you have been positive in your recent answers. That’s encouraging.
I wanted to ask why SYZ declined by so much?
They have withstood well in the past 10 year bear markets. What’s different this time that they are on a free fall

Q: Good morning 5i staff,
I am thinking about selling PLC for a tax loss and buying again in 30 days. I know the previous exdividend date was in June but I don't know how to find out when the next one is, as this might affect my decision. Do you see any catalysts that would affect this stock in the next thirty days, or do you think that it will not rise much in that time?
thanks for all your great advice

Q: Would you consider Bam.a sort of similar to a mutual fund in that it’s investments cover a broad geography in many divergent business’s?
Q: Would you be comfortable selling PBH for tax reasons and buying back
in 30 days. Your February report indicates a pullback in dining out and travel as well as increased input costs could materially affect them.

Q: Further to the idea of tax loss harvesting for Leon's, I see they report on Aug 10...within the 30 day buy-back window.
Question 1 = please confirm the Aug 10 reporting date
Q2 = would you wait until after LNF reports, in case there is some news that does result in a spike?
Thanks...Steve

Q: A bit of a timely question here but GSY has pulled back a fair bit today. Obviously due to the 100bp rate hikes which directly affects their business. At what point are rate hikes so high that GSY is no longer a good buy? Would you add on this pullback? Thx
Q: What is wrong with this stock? It keeps going down regardless of market direction. Hits 52 weeks low today. Is it time to bail out of this?
Thank you
Thank you
Q: Now that Savaria stock price has lowered substantially since the beginning of the year, I am considering it for my income portfolio with its 4% yield and some growth. Before I do, I have the following questions:
1. In your opinion, is Savaria a "Capital Intensive" company? -- Capital intensive companies don't perform well during inflation period.
2. What is the dividend payout ratio over cashflow?
3. How do you feel about the debt level compared to its free cash flow? and
4. In your opinion, to what extent will higher interest rates impair their acquisition strategy. If they can't aquire other companies, what is the risk the growth becomes anemic?
Thanks.
