Q: I'm looking to initiate a position with market leverage. Would you choose between GMP and AHF? Thanks!
Q: Hello,
I was wondering if Enterprise (E.TO) and Easyhome (EH.TO) are good buys at current level? If yes what will be a good time frame for them?
Peter, I know that you don't like target prices and understand why, but can't we have a convention (at least for this site) that a 12 month target price, doesn't mean that the stock must be sold at that time. The conditions may improve by that time and there will be a new target (of course the reverse can also be true).
With that in mind are you willing to put a target price for them? Also, if this idea catches on, do you think we can have a Excel file with the most asked stocks and their target price? This way if conditions change, one would not have to sale just because the target price has been met.
Just and idea.
Thank you and I hope your ride goes smoothly.

Q: In the past week HR.UN has pulled back considerably, even moving lower than its 200 moving average. Was it due to the latest earnings release? Would you consider this a good entry point?

Q: With stanteck 2 for 1 split by way of a dividen does that mean you recieve equvilant cash instead of stocks. If so i would rather have the stock.
Q: Badger daylighting has dropped fairly significantly over the past few months and yet as you continue to mention the essentials remain positive. At 28 dollars, would this not be a great opportunity for a long term buy?
Q: Hello 5i team,
Kudos to Peter for his adventure across Canada for such a worthy cause.
I have a question that may be better suited for a Canadian Money Saver article but I thought I would ask here to see if either the 5i team and/or members have suggestions.
I am looking for information about security considerations regarding keeping money safe in self-directed online brokerages. This may include either a checklist of security features to look for and/or an article/service that assesses and ranks the various brokerages based on current security features. I am not overly well-versed when it comes to understanding potential cyber threats, but definitely want to do what I can to keep my money safe. I imagine this will become a bigger issue as online brokerages become more popular. Any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Rory

Q: There's an interesting take on CSU rights I found in my inbox from Seeking Alpha (here: http://seekingalpha.com/article/2490895-constellation-software-rights-a-low-risk-high-reward-special-situation?uprof=44) that argues the rights should be trading at 94 cents. One little aspect it ignores is that if you purchase rights as opposed to having received enough to purchase adequate debentures you will be receiving less than 1% interest in the first year on your market price vs. the 7.4% coupon on par. Also they compare this issue with a Microsoft bond without highlighting the difference in credit quality.
This email went to hundreds of thousands of Americans, so we'll see if the rights lift off 55 cents on Monday!

Q: Hello 5i team,
In the sector classified by Globe Investor as "other services", I hold BYD.UN (B+) and CGX (A-) and think of adding KBL (A-) and FSV (B) which I consider as steady eddies discreetly flying under the public radar. Would it be OK to buy them at current prices?
Thanks as usual,
Tony

Q: Re SYZ, On September 5th, the volume jumped to almost 600,000 on the sell side, almost 20 times the 100 day MA of about 31,000. There was a question/comment on this site talking about a new issue yet my source for news (Scotia iTrade) talks about a trading halt on the 4th with a resumption on the 5th. No other news. Can you fill in the blanks? Where, if I am not getting all the news from Scotia iTrade, can access ALL the news?

Q: Hi 5i Team
I am now down to a 2 percent gain on each of BDI and Bad. What will bring back Investor interest to these stock? Analysts all seem very negative on BAD in particular . Should I get out and look for better opportunities?
Thanks

Q: The courts have recently ruled in favour of BNS employees claiming lost overtime wages. Scotiabank has sent letters to all branch sales staff allowing them to make claims for overtime hours worked. Are you concerned about the negative impact this could have on BNS stock? Sue
Q: Hello Peter,
I recently opened a joint account funded with cash for my wife and myself. We're starting with a clean slate as we've liquidated some other less interesting holdings to fund the new account.
We're both in our late 30s and will continue to add funds to this account as we can.
From the model portfolio, what holdings would you start with? Our account isn't big enough yet to buy board lots of all of model.
Looking for 5 things that we could buy now.
We already hold BNS, ENB, ESL, and T from the model portfolio.

Q: Hello 5i team,
I own Cineplex CGX for quite a while and I'm wondering whether to hold or sell. Granted you have rated it A- for all the good reasons you mentioned in your report (and I agree with them); but all it takes is one so-so season (poor content) for the stock to take a tumble. Given that, how can one intelligently forecast future revenues and earnings?
Food for thought!

Q: I am looking at adding to my holding in SJ. In your report you mentioned the 38% ownership by SJ Intl (Glasgow Scotland). Would you expect any impact on the stock price from a YES vote simply because of Scottish ownership? Given the growing strength of the US $ what impact would that have on the stock? Lastly what kind of revenue and eps growth would you see over the next couple of years.
Thanks
Mike
Thanks

Q: could you give me your thoughts on vnp. thanks brian
Q: Hello 5i team,
Financials represent only 8.2% of my RRIF portfolio; they comprise BNS, EFN, HCG and TD. To gain some exposure to lifecos, I think of adding SLF.
Your thoughts?
Thanks,
Tony
