Thanks John
Thanks John
Q: Hello 5i Team
Back on August 12 you mentioned AVO had too much cash on hand which was impacting per share results. You also commented an acquisition would go along way towards providing some positive news to turn around the emotional slide which began with the executive resignation in May.
Is Mr. Hernandez still sitting on a considerable amount of cash? Has his strategy for the company changed in the past quarter or do you think an acquisition is still on the horizon?
Thanks for all you do
Gord

Q: This is an interesting post, which I thought might help explain what's happening with Avigilon. I don't have an opinion one way or the other as I don't know enough about hedge funds and shorting practices, but it does seem intriguing, and might be of interest to those members who know more about this than I do.

Q: No news & yet stock has dropped some 25% since 9/30 to $14.04(down 11% today)Imperial Capital started coverage on Oct 3 with outperform rating & a $25 target price.Pat Horan recommend it on BNN on 9/29.Is there some negative news on the next Q leaked????There has to be a reason besides the current market drop.In my humble opinion, the co has to release some positive news on the next Q's revenue & profit sooner than later to stop the bleeding.Does AVO provide a site for investor opinion--if so, please provide. Thanks a lot
Q: As a follow up to the discussion on Contrans. What happens to those of us who have not tendered our shares, if Transforce succeeds?
Q: Since the tumble from $18 for AVO volume has been 2X average except for Monday when it was 4X. It certainly seems someone knows something negative here, or thinks they do, and sellers are gaining the strong hand. Could you provide a current short position on the stock, and do you have any comment on the Point and Figure chart target of $9? Thanks, J.
Q: Is there any limit on the number of extensions that Transforce can request? This offer was made on Aug. 14,2014. This could take some time. Thank-you
Q: AVO continues to tank today. Should I hang in there? It is sure painful watching this thing slide.
Q: Any current information on the cause of the price decrease? Catalyst or negative news?
Q: what is your current assessment of this co.
Q: How do you view Trimac's potential growth from here? And valuation? Thanks.
Q: What do you think about Contrans Group at the moment? Did Transforce successfully buy them out?
Thank you.
Thank you.
Q: It's down again today(8%) on heavy volume and the towel is ready to throw itself in. Is there any significant insider selling on this stock?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: hi , would you have a opinion on this company. thanks
Q: Hi Peter and team, leading gold mining companies like G, ABX, YRI, K are all trading at multi year low levels. P/B ratios for YRI and K are well below 1. Aren't these companies are deeply undervalued? If so is it ok to have a slight bias towards gold mining sector to seize an opportunity for the next 6 - 12 months.
Q: I enjoy the weekly 5 from 5i. Thank you for that value added information.
This week the article on the solar industry piqued my curiosity. Are there any US or Canadian stocks that you can recommend for an investor wanting to test the waters in this industry, and preferably not get burned?
As usual, thank you for your help.

Q: I have been waiting for some strength in ACQ to start a position. I have never owned it . I guess the renewed strength has to do with Buffett entering positions in dealerships. So would you buy it now if you did not own it? Thanks.
Q: Greetings from BC: I read the following in a gaming article, but I did not see any of this news coming from the company. Does that mean that it is not "material"? The article said it was the reason behind Amaya's recent drop in share price. The whole gray-market issue is not something I've heard much about, but I guess Canada is also a gray market. Perhaps they are doing this to clean up Poker Stars and Full-Tilt in order to prepare to face US regulators?
Amaya Gaming withdraws from 'gray areas'
Since the acquisition of their parent company Oldford Group Limited by the Amaya Gaming Group, PokerStars and Full Tilt have already undergone several significant changes. These included, amongst others, the launch of the new PokerStars 7 client and an opening to the casino world with the inclusion of roulette and blackjack games to PokerStars.es.
Amaya CEO David Baazov says the company intends to use both PokerStars and Full Tilt to enter new verticals like casino and the sports betting, but the group does not seem keen to keep working in "gray markets" where online games are not expressly prohibited or strictly regulated.
What do you think?
