Q: Hi, there. I currently own a small position of Capital Power and am currently down 12%. With today's update on 3rd Quarter results, should I sell my position before I lose too much more? Thanks.

Q: How will the drop in oil affect PKI.
Q: Hi team. I would like your opinion on (AW.UN) A & W Revenue Royalties Income Fund.
Q: I have some money set aside and would like to take advantage of the pullback and buy 2 industrial stocks and 2 consumer stocks. I already own BGI.UN and DH, and the rest of my portfolio is well balanced in other sectors. I am looking at a long term hold with a view of overall return combining growth and div.
I'm looking at the following stocks in Consumer: SJR.B, BCE, T, PJC.A and ATB.B
And the following in Industrial: WTE, CAE, CNR, MG and AC.B
Could you suggest 2 in each sector (or suggest another stock that may be preferable to my choices) and let me know the basics of the choice?
Thanks so much, Kim

Q: Hi Peter,
Would you please comment on ATP? I am thinking of buy it at this level and I can hold it for 2 years.
Thanks,

Q: Hi
Acq had a significant drop (8.2%) today.
Any reason you know of?
Would you recommend it as a buy at the closing price today of $49.90?
Thanks

Q: Autocanada has been almost cut in half during this correction. Was it just hugely overvalued? What do you make of the valuation today and is it a compelling buy? Thanks.
Q: I'm short on consumer staples. Does ECI fit? I told myself I wouldn't buy anything you ranked lower than B+, but I am a dividend investor and retired.
To whoever asked; yes, I supported Peter. another great thing about 5i
Donating stocks to charity, aside from the direct benefits to me and the charity, seems like a sensible way to rebalance, given that I'd be making the donation anyway.
Your overblown corrections post is excellent. Thank you!

Q: I know you favour BNS amongst the big 6 banks, but after working there for several years (and NOT being impressed with the culture) I cannot bring myself to invest in it. Can you please offer what your 2nd and 3rd choices would be. Or would something like PWF be more attractive at current prices. I'm in this for the long term. Thanks!
Q: On Oct 7,Andrea Horan recommend AVO as a buy on BNN.On Oct 14, Motley Fool stated-Buy AVO as bargain price will not last forever. AVO is releasing its report on Nov 4 after market close. Q: Any news on QST? It has been swept up in the recent downturn and I am hoping that there is no bad news. If there is no bad news is $3:00 an entry point?
Q: Hi,
Due to the recent capitulation in small cap stocks, I am concerned about DEE and QST which have been cut in half. My average price on DEE is 4.25 and that on QST is 4.35. Unfortunately, I have more than the required portfolio weight in these two stocks and I am not able to double up because of the already high weighting. What do you suggest and what impact woould the next one or two years have on these two stocks.

Q: Hello Peter
I an quite concerned that Ebola will sweep around much of the world eventually no matter how hard we fight it and that being the case Ebola may be a disaster for life insurance companies having to prematurely pay out on life policies. Should we sell our Sun Life SLF and Great West GWO [currently almost a break-even for us if we do]?
Thanks....... Paul K

Q: I have noticed that cfn has held its price during this latest correction. What you think is going to happen to the stock once the deal gets done? Is there a chance the stock price will crater?
Q: In the context of geographic diversification of a portfolio, would holdings in a Canadian company with significant operations in and revenues from foreign countries be a reasonable proxy for direct holdings in foreign countries' equities? e.g. Ag Growth International / AFN or WSP Global?
Q: Just in case it hasn't been asked. What do you think of the BAR report and business update coming out of Amaya this morning?
TIA
