Q: Hi Peter and Team
Is Black Diamond a name that could be overweight in a portfolio? I am considering doubling down/ averaging down my purchase price on this equity. It seems to me to be a little oversold. I will probably wait until their earnings tomorrow but I would appreciate your opinion regardless. I am very comfortable with the associated risks but of course prefer to keep my capital.
Thank you
Jeremy

Q: Thanks for your question replies. I now need to bump up my Industrial-Tech sector and reduce my Resource sector weightings. I am a retired dividend-income investor.

I want to add CSU, but it has jumped lately. Should I wait for a bit of a pullback to around $300? Any other Industrial-Tech companies that pay a dividend and that you would recommend buying at this time?

I own BTE, CPG, SGY. Which of these would you lighten up on? Which of these has the most secure dividend, given lower oil prices and their respective hedging programs?

Should I wait on adjusting my energy weighting for a bit of a rebound? Seems like I'd be selling oil at the bottom to buy CSU at an all-time high?

Thanks in advance,
Steve

Q: In your Oct 2, 2014 report, you gave a C+ rating to Horizon North Logistics. At that time the stock was trading in the $5.30 range. Now that the stock has dropped to $3 after the Q3 earning release, would your opinion change as the yield is not exceeding 10%. Thank you,

Q: A Scotiabank analyst said today on BNN that "the replacement cycle will be so strong that it will last several years". Video here: http://www.bnn.ca/Video/player.aspx?vid=481891. If that's the case, would you say that AutoCanada is the canadian company that should profit the most from this trend? Financials and auto-parts makers possibly would also profiting I speculate.

Q: Your equity portfolio has a heavy weighting to Tech stocks (CSU,MDA,ESL,DSG,SYA,AYA). Some of these have had big moves this year - I am looking to add some exposure for a long term hold - which of these offers best value now. Many thanks

Q: With BEP.UN today closes at $35.67 near its all time high of $35.84, do you still advise an investor to take an initial position at this level?

Also, how safe is the dividends and can the 28%+ gain YTD be continued into 2015?

Thanks.
