Q: Boyd Automotive is a canadian company, but the majority of their business is done in the USA. With the Canadian dollar sinking fast and the US dollar rising, does that mean that Boyd's profits will be enhanced as they receive money in the stronger currancy? I'm thinking the improving US economy should also be good for Boyd?

Q: Do you believe Avo has broken out of it's recent trading range with it's close on Friday? I maybe watching it too closely as it went through a key price gap at $18.93, just missed $19.60 and I think the next price gap is $ 24.89. I want to add on the way up to the momentum!

Q: In a recent interview Tom Liston said he sees venture capital shifting from resources to technology and believes there are a number of good Cdn tech companies that are IPO capable. In fact he sees a pent up demand in public markets for IPO's.
Do you get the same sense, and if so would this be a catalyst for CF?

Q: I talked to I trade where are GLENTEL shares are held and was told that you can no longer choose the option of cash or shares in BCE. If you wanted to do so you had to say so three days before the shareholders meeting earlier in January. Most people would obviously choose the shares with BCE hitting new highs. Is it still possible to get shares in BCE? THANKS

Q: Hello, on your recommendation I bought Enghouse and am very pleased. It seems like a perfect investment in that there is very little news, it kind of flies under the radar and you look at it a year later and it has had a nice move. Although in a very different business, Winpak's stock behaves similarly. I would like to add Winpak's to my Tfsa. Your thoughts would be most appreciated. Bill

Q: Since September, AHF has lost over half its value, for no obvious reason other than, perhaps, being connected to insider trading in Amaya. In a previous answer (Jan 12), after weighing the pros and cons, you thought the stock was still 'buyable'; given the price depreciation, mustn't it be even more 'buyable' now?

Q: Hello,
What is your current analysis of AHF's ability to sustain it's dividend? Has there been any changes to it's dividend in past few weeks that have been announced?
It's is difficult to find accurate info on payout ratio and debt level for this smaller cap stock. Could you provide from Bloomberg if available please?
It appears there is little downside from current price and some upside (eventually) while being paid to wait - thoughts on idea?
Thanks,
