Q: Hello.
I am thinking of adding to a small position in Leon. It has retracted quite a bit recently. Does that make an attractive entry point? Also the closing of future shops, which sold appliances as well as electronics should open up a window for the competitors. also thank you for the wonderful service, and I would like to express the opinion that I do not agree with the people who are in the starting block for the release of a new portfolio and ready for the market open with their orders, showing impatience to your service. Feel free to publish.

Q: amaya has announced that it has applied for nasdaq listing. Considering that they are under investigation, i would think that nasdaq will wait until the result before they can accept to list it.
is this a correct assumption?

Q: Is there some unusual trading/manipulation taking place with Amaya's stock? AYA on the TSX was set to close at $31.00 but then there was a sudden jump to $29.70 (ending 1.69% down for the day).

On the other hand, Amaya's stock trading on the US OTC markets (AMYGF) ended the day 4.02% up. That's quite a large gap between the two markets.

Anything to be concerned about?

Q: "Start shedding the deflationary plays such as utilities, consumer staples and telecommunications because that story has become as old and tired as the bond rally." So writes David Rosenberg in a basically anti-bond pro stock piece in the March 27 Financial Post where he assesses the impact on bonds and income stocks of interest rates rising even slightly. Do you think the 5%+ (growing) yield on BEP would offer a sufficient cushion over most other utilities in the face of rising rates or should profits be trimmed as Mr. R. suggests? Thanks, J.

Q: Not sure if it is just me, but I've noticed a lot of people having or expecting babies lately. Many investor typically talk about investing in companies that cater to the baby boomer (ie. aging) generation, but can you list a few opportunities that could benefit from an influx of newborns? I was thinking DHX could be one, but not sure if your team had any other ideas. Thanks!

Q: My apologies, as I tried to send an email from my phone earlier today, and had problems with service, and phone.
I thought I had completed my dudiligence on syz, and seemed like a great buy coupled with insider buying. Technicals indicate oversold, as well as RSI is low.
Markets were not good today, however what is wrong here, and should I be selling to average my loss.
Thanks for the great service
