Q: While the market remains buoyant, Knight's CEO seems to be remaining patient for a major reset bringing potential buyout company prices spiralling downward. I am ok with that but he seems to have laid an egg with TherapeuticsMD by paying $20M for rights to just two of their drugs for Canada and Israel plus buying $20M of stock at $5.10 and is now down over 40% in a short time frame. What do you think of this deal and the potential of these drugs? It was, at least, good to see one company pay for rights to the rest of the world outside the US. Are they a legitimate partner?
Thanks.

Q: Sis recently reported AGM vote results and there were significant witheld votes for the 3 Bourassa members of the board, and highest for Robert. At the same time, performance continues to be good (as you note in recent report update). However, your full report notes key person risk for the Bourassa's. What can you tell us that would explain the withheld votes? Is this a trouble signal?

Q: Does the below note (from BMO) mean SQ is looking to push into the same space as LSPD? Do you view them as competitive or is overlap minimal?

01:38 PM EDT, 06/06/2019 (MT Newswires) -- Square (SQ) on Thursday said it will allow orders from Postmates, DoorDash, and online order integration company Chowly to appear directly in a restaurant's point of sale.

The move will give owners a combined delivery and point-of-sale product, eliminating the use of multiple tablets and the need to manually enter online orders, Square said.

Q: Two general questions:

My ACB on RPI is approaching zero. When I eventually sell, will Revenue Canada consider zero as the minimum possible ACB or am I expected to continue to calculate an ACB once it goes into negative territory?

This is likely more of an issue for my eventual estate, as I assume once one gets to ACB one just collects dividends unless management does something really silly. Is there any other reason to consider selling a reliable dividend payer once ACB gets to zero?

Q: Hi,
I am extremely underweight the utilities sector, so would like to buy one utility.

I like the geographic diversity of BEP.UN and that you have it rated as “A”.
Would this be your top utility pick?

I’m not concerned about dividend yield or even total return, so much as which utility will come through the next economic downturn with the least damage.

Thanks,

Q: Good morning, Today you recommended XTC as a small cap buy. I know you have liked it in the past but.... share price chart is dreadful, recent results were not good and the sector is out of favour. Is it just a straight value play or is there a new catalyst?
Also, are they more affected or less affected by trade tensions/tariffs than MG, MRE and Linamar? Thanks for the great service.
Rob
