Investment Q&A

Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.

Q: I've held Interrent since about $8 a share and I've bought more on the way up. My average cost is about $10.50 a share. What are your thoughts on Interrent today and in the future? Do you see them as an eventual takeover target by a larger player such as Boardwalk to help diversify their portfolio or CAP Reit to get even larger?

Thanks,
Jason

Q: Down a lot on TSGI and saw in your email blast and that you dropped TSGI from one of your portfolios, but I've not sold yet as I wanted to ask a couple of a questions about their recent earnings report. For the 3 months ending June/19, adjusted earnings were $0.48/share. (1) What was the expectation for earnings? (2) Is this earning miss that bad given that revenues and the number of shares outstanding has increased by over 50%? Thank you as always for your great work and responses.

Q: You guys seem down on COV.
They had said that the $100M Saudi contract would be in the second half of the year and now they said it is delayed a quarter. As a result, they needed money and did a private placement at a low price which is a misstep.
It is not unusual to have a delay with a contract.
If the contract comes to fruition, is there any doubt that COV will not get to new highs or am I missing something bigger?
Also is there still a doubt that the $100M is in jeopardy because of the former employees actions?
Thanks

Q: Good morning...I have searched the internet and found the payout ratio of fsz at 60.62% is that correct. I have a 3% weighting in this stock and love the dividend as I am a senior that uses that dividend for expenses. Do you view a 3% weighting in this company proper considering its valuation and payout ratio...thank you..gene

Q: What's your opinion on TJX for growth? Would you consider the recent drop an attractive buy point or are there better alternatives for growth in the sector?
