Q: Thanks for your flash report. Much appreciated.
Without doing a full review, which of the above would risk being downgraded if you were to do a full review? Thanks. Your service is great!
Q: Hi. I want to gradually increase my exposure to the industrial sector and I am considering nibbling at one of the following companies; MG, CAE, LNR. This company would be a long-term hold. thanks,
Q: Any reason why SHOP has gone up so much over the past 2 days? I haven't seen any news that would account for it. In fact, there have been some analyst 'HOLD' ratings (like a kiss of death).
Q: I currently own PKI at 2.38% weight and under water but was wondering if I were to increase this to 3% weight if you are comfortable with this or wait a bit longer before adding to the name?
Thanks
In your latest flash report April 13, 2020 you suggested that due to covid-19 there will likely be reduced EPS growth. You also mentioned there might be a dividend cut for conservatism. In your opinion is the dividend covered with reduced earnings expectations due to covid-19 challenges? If so, what percentage of earnings would be used to pay the current dividend if it not cut? If the dividend is cut, what do you think is reasonable?
Q: I would have expected KBL to hold up better than what it has done in this crisis, especially given that they’re in the business of providing linen services to healthcare facilities. Are there other factors affecting the stock? Thx
Q: TFII: a lot of debt., low PR @ 25%, excellent ROE of approx. 22%, diversified company. I own nothing in this space. Everything is up a lot this week - who would have figured with all the negative media news (what's new)? They report later this month. I do not know a lot about this company? I assume transportation of goods, courier services etc.? Low fuel prices is certainly helping their bottom line as this would be a huge expense. 1000 shs would be a full position for me - maybe buy 500 now? Is the dividend safe (high debt.)?
I know you have recommended this in the past based on valuation and it has recently rebounded almost 100% off the lows.
As someone with a 5 year+ time horizon, but concerned about capital preservation, is this a good place to be right now
My concern is that if people are struggling to pay bills, rent, buy food, these loans will fall first.
A secondary concern given the present environment is government intervention to reduce the interest rates GSY can charge which would fundamentally impact the business.
Q: Considering a 5 year time frame, what would be your allocation toward cdn oil (xeg), cdn ag (ntr), utilities (zwu), fixed income (hfr) and US (zwa & xqq). Above average risk tolerance seeking yield and capital gain. Are there any other suggestions....LSPD would also be a holding. thanks.

Q: Hello,
What are your thoughts on a comapny like GDI at a time like this? On an up market day like today the stock had no movement (which may be a good thing as it may not be correlated to the market). Do you think they could have liquidity issues? I am starting to buy this slowly. DO let me know your thoughts. Thanks.
Q: I currently own WSP in a RRSP account and wonder what you think the portfolio weight should be with what happening in the market? Do you feel that 5% is okay or should be at a lower weight?
Thanks
