Question regarding Well. Do you possibly have any info. (or know where we could find any info) on how their purchase of CRH Medical is going?
It seems like CRH's CEO (Tushar Ramani) left the company last month (Dec). Is there any information explaining this and/or any information relating to their revenue trends?
Q: GSY is one of my growth holdings still firmly in the green, although certainly down from its high. Is it time with the interest rate hike coming, to rotate out of this one for a while to preserve the gain?
Q: With the business update from WELL I'm reminded of a similar update from GSY in the depths of market turmoil in 2020. I think GSY re-affirmed their business at a very low stock price ($12? maybe $20?). Had I been wiser and more knowledgeable at the time I would have bought more then and I didn't.
I'm curious why one would not add to (or start) a position in WELL today?
Q: With technology stocks presently going out of favour with buyers what 5 Canadian and 5 US technology stocks would i5Research recommend for a long time hold in a TFSA. Thanks … Cal
Q: Do you believe todays news release was intentional by managements to stop the bleeding. There is nothing new materially mentioned. That said the business model looks great.
Q: Having held SHOP (TSX) for a number of years, it's discouraging to watch it whither away. While this downturn plays out, would it make sense to short the US version of the stock? Obviously, there are considerable risks involved and it would require close attention for entries and exits, but it seems like this might mitigate some of the losses. Or is this a dumb idea? Thanks.
Q: Hi 5i Team - Having been a growth investor I don't have a very clear idea of what a Value stock is. Could you explain what criteria or metrics make up this type of company. Am quite sure I probably have a few in my portfolios (and maybe didn't quite realize it) but would to like add at least a couple, maybe more. Would you be able to provide the names of a few Value stocks in the mid and large cap range. Also in the small cap area if possible. Any sector. Am assuming minimum 3 year hold for this type of investment. Thanks.
Q: Not so long ago I didn't think it could drop below 6. Then I was shocked to see it go below 5. Today on a market rebound it dropped again below 4. Would you sell and wait to see where it settles before buying back in. Can you see it going below 3.
Q: These stocks were recently purchased before the melt down in teck, and wondering what your thoughts are going forward.
Should I be pulling the plug, I am underwater on all three
Thanks
Q: Good morning, If I were to buy these three stocks in a separate account and never looked at the prices of the stocks or the account for five years, would I be happy when I saw the results after the five year period, thanks?
Q: Reviewing your " New Reports, Market and Portfolio Updates!". You added to tve, and kel. When were these added to the growth portfolio or are they new positions at this time.
Thanks
Q: If I want to initiate a position on GSY, what would you consider to be the optimate price? As well, GSY has dropped over 8% since the start of 2022, will it fall any further?
Q: I have a question for shopify it looks like there next report will come out on February 16. This company took a beating of $500.00 per share in the last 3 months, i am looking to get my feet wet on this company would you have any idea if they meat or beat their target can you see it taking off again.. And my other thought is i read alot of bartchart and it gives you signals like buy, sell, and hold which i do not follow it to closely but what i do check out on the companies that i am looking to add to my portfolio or if i already have them and that inside trading now i know why the tech's are taking a beating, pretty well almost all of them but not CSU in the last 6 months there is about 10 to 1 ratio that are mostly sellers. Some of these ceo or vp do not believe in their company. Thanks again guys sorry for making it so long you may charge me extra points.
Q: Scotia lowered the target price to $41 and stated that PKI should reduce the EBITDA growth and instead return more capital to shareholders in dividends. EBITDA grew from $1.25-billion to $2.0-billion. Is Scotia's hypothesis correct? I always thought that the EBIDTA growth is one of the most important criteria in evaluating a stock.
Q: Considering that you were frustrated with this one yesterday, today you must be downright peeved. I see no news and was just wondering if you have seen anything cross your wires on this one today. I am thinking of adding.
