Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.

Q: I own shares in Volkswagen. I have received a corporate action notice advising that they are cancelling the Ordinary share sponsored ADR program. I have the option to either receive 2 Unsponsored ordinary share ADRs for each Sponsored ordinary share ADR exchanged or exchange 5 ADRs plus pay any charges or fees per ADR to receive one ordinary share of Volkswagen AG.

Why would a company terminate sponsored ADRs? Would it be better to reveive Unsponsored ADRs or Ordinary shares?

Q: Hello Peter & Ryan,
I appreciate your opinion about: NAKD, BURBY (Burberry group), LVMUY (Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessey), CFRUY (Compagnie Financiere Richemont S.A. ADR)

"Naked Brand Group Limited, a global leader in intimate apparel and swimwear (the “Company” or “Naked”), has announced an agreement between its wholly-owned subsidiary Bendon Limited (“Bendon”) and CVS Health (CVS), a leading pharmacy innovation company helping people on their path to better health. Under the terms of the agreement, Bendon’s master licensed Heidi Klum Intimates Solutions line has been featured in over 4,000 CVS locations across the United States."

Thank You!

Q: First off, my apologies to all the members for the recent sell-off in the markets. I should have warned your readers that I decided to put some money to use at the end of last week so there would inevitably be a sell-off not too long afterwards.

But seriously, I was wondering if you could provide any insight/feedback/critique into whether it makes sense to view the projected growth in market development in African nations in the coming years and decades as a viable investment thesis. If so, do you have any suggestions on how to invest in Africa? A cursory exploration led to Fairfax Africa (FAH.U) - does this seem like a worthwhile investment? Are there any other suggestions I could investigate further?

Thanks in advance,
Rory

Q: I wish to add more fixed income to both my Can $ and US$ portfolios. Reviewing recent Q & A has given me information for Canadian options. Can you suggest US$ Etf's for US and/or international exposure. Thanks for your help and continuing good advice. Doug

Q: I currently hold VYMI for large cap international dividend income. There is a fairly new Fidelity product holding international large cap ( FIDI) . Do you see any advantages of FIDI over VYMI? Do you consider VYMI a reasonable ETF for international exposure? It is down recently. Would you continue to hold this investment? Thank you kindly for a comparison of the above efts and for your comments on continuing to hold VYMI.
