Q: 2 questions - please deduct as many points as needed.
Q1 - according to Portfolio Analytics, I need to increase my fixed income allocation by $90k. I own 4% positions in XBB, ZIC & PMO005 and 2.6% in CPD. Would you recommend adding to one of these or would you suggest adding another ETF?
Q2 - I need to add $125k to International exposure. Current international holdings include XAW, XMI & XEC at just over 2%. Should i add to anyone of these or add something else?

Q: Hello team,

Would you please compare and contrast these two SAAS companies. I appreciate it if you can comment on their moat and and market as well as competition, quality of business, current valuation, momentum, and financial strength.

I know you like them both, but I have money only for one and I am wondering which one has more torque and a brighter future, for it is current growth is going to only accelerate further.

Thank you very much indeed for being the referee here.

Q: From a "green" standpoint I am considering BYDDF which is a Chinese company partly owned by Warren Buffet. Just wondering what your thoughts are on whether this is a compelling company to invest in.

If not BYDDF, are there other green stocks or ETFs that you feel hold promise. I already have BEP, AQN, INE, TSLA.
Thanks.

Q: Hello

I am aiming to have about 20% of my equity portfolio in international stocks (ie. not US or Canada). I currently own ZDH (4.3%), ZDM (5.06%), ZEQ (1.87%), ZLD (4.19%) and ZEM (4.15%).

Do these ETFs appear reasonable to you? Do you see any need to change/consolidate, or to reduce MERs? The Portfolio Analyzer recommends VIU, XEF, VEE and XEM. Do you think it is worthwhile replacing my ETFs for the recommended versions?

Also, VEE and XEM do not appear to be as tax efficient as ZEM, or am I missing something?

Thank you for this great service!

Q: I have the above international ETF's in my RIF at a total allocation of 39%. I am interested in your assessment of my choices. Any duplication? Should I delete any? What should I add in it's place? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks for adding analytics. It's a great assist.

Q: Is it possible for a Canadian investor to buy into BYD Build Your Dreams a Chinese electric car company. Is there an ADR for this company. I heard Mr Buffet owns 20%. Any thoughts on this and could it go into a TFSA. Thanks Chris

Q: Hello team,

Just wanted to ask what you think of STNE for the long term? Is this SQ of Brazil/Latin America? Can it compete effectively as a disruptior?

It fell significantly after Itau Unibanco, a large Brazilian bank, said that it will begin to advance credit card payments to merchants in just two days as opposed to the 30-day industry standard. It might fall even more once its lock-up period expires on 23 April.

I appreciate it if you can comment on its moat, market, and management? Would you be a buyer at the current price, given their current balance sheet and future growth? Or would you wait for the dust to settle?

Many thanks!

Q: Hi .... There seems to be a lot of attention these days around new IPO's. One that caught our attention the other day is LUCKIN ..... China..... going up against the Gorilla known as SBUX. This is a 2 part question:
1. What are your thoughts regarding the appeal of Luckin as an IPO?
2. In order to be "allocated" shares on an IPO are there any specific guidelines or rules that apply? E.G how big an investment is required to have a chance of getting IPO shares or is this a investing/trading opportunity more limited to the BIG GUYS with deep pockets vs the average smaller retail investor.

Thanks for any insights you can provide here.
